Vancouver has ridiculous depth and balance this year, the only way the Hawks beat them if psychologically. I don't want to have to face Kesler and the friggin twins this year.

interesting.... CoHo's back still needs special attention

Ian Walker: Hodgson does dynamic training on game days to warm up back. To skate would be too much. Cleared it w teammates.

also worth noting: Kieth Ballard's first playoff game tonight... after 450+ regular season games.

you nervous for tonight?

I sure am

A little but I kinda feel like the Hawks have nothing to lose. If they can steal either game 1 or 2 they will be in good shape.

Hypothetical here, if the Hawks win game 1 is game 2 a must win for Vancouver?

In my opinion, yes and then the next obvious question is who gets the start in goal for Vancouver for game two?

depends on the final score i guess

I think you go with Lou unless he is downright attrocious.

Having said that, I see the Canucks bombarding the Hawks tonight from the opening puck drop. If Chicago can survive the first 10 minutes, it will be interesting. Don't be surprised if it's 2-0 Vancouver and we're only halfway through the 1st period.

I just dont see the hawks being as effective crashing the crease and thus getting in Luongos head this time around ... Chicago doesnt have the same personnel to be able to do it and more importantly Luongo plays deeper in the net so if they try it they will be in the penalty box every time

btw ... Toews when asked yesterday, wasnt even aware that Luongo changed this part of his game
