No sense in watching the last 35 minutes of this one. Just another playoff game that's gonna end 2-0.

I actually hope Kesler wins the Selke this year. I think he deserved it last year over Datsyuk.

Selke is a weird award, never really goes to the best defensive forward. Usually goes to a good offensive forward that is also pretty good at defense. Kinda like the Norris goes to a really good offensive dman that is also pretty responsible on defense.

I disagree with that only because I actually think Datsyuk was the best defensive forward in some years that he won it. Lidstrom is nothing to sneeze at as well.

Nobody covered that guy?? #57 for Chicago had so much time on his hands that he opened up a lawn chair, sat down, drank a beer and waited for the puck to get to him.

Kesler WAS a terrific defensive forward. he's got a different role now (jumped to 41 goals this year),
he is still very good defensively, terrific on the backcheck, but I wouldn't call him a defensive forward by any stretch.... Datsyuk either, for that matter.

I neglected to add Kesler with Datsyuk in my last post. Both were deserving and were both great defensive forwards last year, I just think Kesler deserved it more with a greater role on the penalty kill.

Wow, that was awful by Vancouver.

not sure why Edler seemed to go behind the net there... trying to cut off the pass instead?
oh well, one bad mistake in 90 minutes isn't bad. don't like the life it gave the Hawks though.
would sure like the next...... WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
