I know people were surprised myself included when Luongo was traded to Florida. I know Red Light Ricky blew Milpuke's doors off in an interview, but apparently were some attitude issues Milpuke was concerned about with Luongo. I never bought it & still don't.

I have nothing against Luongo personally or otherwise. The reason I'm not a fan is he's been touted as the next Roy since before he was drafted & he hasn't won squat. I know he played for some very bad teams in L.I. & Florida, but this isn't the only Canucks team a standout goalie could have taken far in the playoffs. He had an UNBELIEVABLE TEAM in front of him at the Olympics & it took OT to win the Gold. I've always felt Luongo was overrated. I'm still waiting to be proven WRONG.

It's going to take a Stanley Cup for that to happen. Fortunately for Luongo he has a STACKED team in front of him. So it just might happen this year.

Im not sure you know why you hate him. nothing of what you mentioned seems his own personal fault. you should probably cheer for him. you also said you dont WANT him to win a cup yet you make that bolded statement

and he was a BIG part of winning gold make no bones about that. for the 2 reasons I stated the slovak win and that OT save. stacked team or not. Sweden had a pretty stacked team as well but King Henrik couldnt win gold that year. Lou has had struggles but I dont think he deserves the attacks he gets. I guess I dont really need to defend him and probably have to stop as it is pretty tiresome. until he wins the silver he wont be regarded as a great goalie. thats just wrong. takes so much more than one player. if we dont win this year Id be looking right at the Sedins not luongo. at least there is 2 of them

I'm on the same page with the Sharks. Fuck Joe Thornton. There's no logic to it - wasn't his fault he got traded two months into a Hart/Art Ross winning season. All the same... fuck him.
