Don't think his age is going to matter much. This isn't what your typical injury. The track record of guys coming back from this type of injury and returning to their previous level is pretty bad.

According to that story, under 27 makes a difference....and like it says every player's body and makeup is different. But, it's not ideal.

Most likely he wouldn't get a long term deal coming off that, it'd probably be 2-3 years to see how he bounces back.
