I think he might. This is pretty much a must win. They really need a split in Miami.

Going down 0-2 isn't good even if Embiid comes back for the home games in Philly

His FGA's are likely down because his decline has started and he can't get himself open/create separation like he used to and the refs don't seem to buy his flops as much anymore.

With Brooklyn: 16.0 shots per game on .414 shooting (.332 from downtown)

With Philly: 13.6 shots per game on .402 shooting (.326 from downtown)

He's no longer the same player he was in Houston. Father Time is right on his heels.

People jumping all over Harden for not scoring as much just need to look at how his FGA's have declined from Houston to Brooklyn to Philly.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I never understood this take when he shoots 33% from deep.
Though, to be fair, when the team shoots under 20%.......

I think it's an ego thing for him because of his relationship (or lack thereof) with the Philly media.

I just hope he has a short leash with DAJ and is willing to with Niang at the 5 or throw in Bassey.

They were comparing that they are all right around 32/33, have depended mainly on athleticism and all are in fairly steep declines and none have adjusted their game.

I don't think it matches up exactly with each of them, but it's close enough to be interesting.

When was Harden supposed to add this? It became evident after he was traded to Brooklyn. He lost his entire summer to add to his game as he was solely focused on physical therapy for the hamstring. He did little summer work this past year. This summer is the time for him to reflect on what he needs at add that. Harden doesn’t belong in conversation yet with the other two.

I agree with him but for different reasons. I think Maxey’s speed is the only thing left that could give the Sixers the semblance of advantage here with no Embiid.

That would be a tough call, imo.

I think they are a better team with Harden than without, but I don't think they're a true contender with him.

Harden doesn't seem like a guy who would settle for less and someone will give him a max deal. If they let Harden walk and can't replace him with someone better, they will have effectively blown Embiid's title window.

Not by himself. I think they should rotate Harris, Bassey and Reed. Give them each like 15-16mpg at C.

Harris held his own vs Siakam and Siakam is a more versatile offensive cover than Bam. I think he will be fine.

I don’t know what to do with Doc. I don’t think he’s a great coach or the right coach for this squad but the possibility of Dantoni scares me. I think he’s an even worse fit than Doc.
