Thank you so much. He had to have a kidney removed about 6 years ago because of a tumor and started dialysis on the other one a couple years later. It’s been a long road but he is hanging in fighting as hard as he can. Just hate seeing how much it has taken out of him.
Absolutely.

One of my closest friends has Lupus and needed a transplant.

She had to wait quite a bit of time to get a transplant.

I took her to a few appointments and it was...... Difficult to witness.

But, It always stuck with me how caring and encouraging the staff was.

So, once I changed professions, I knew I would land in the Hemodialysis unit eventually.

Covid has made things even worse.

Patients don't have the luxury to wait out an infection.

So, if we get exposed to it, so be it.

It's life or death for them.

Which is why I take exception to guys like Kyrie and Thybulle.

You don't take the vaccination just to protect yourself.

You take it for the at risk population around you as well.

Philly will regret giving Harden a max deal.

Sadly, they have little choice.
I disagree. He is a fool if he thinks he’s making 40+ million any other way. Nobody is doing a sign and trade for that number and anybody who has massive space isn’t looking to use that space to over pay Harden. It makes sense for him to opt in to that final year not opt out. He is essentially on a contract year showing he can be a max guy again. If he is then Morey likely gives him the bag. If he isn’t they can let him walk. That’s 47 million off the cap in 23 if they let him walk with Harris 39 coming off the books in 24. If they need to Tobias is an expiring contract for 39 that people might take on to shed cap. Sixers have options. Harden becoming a consistent 25/12 guy and number 2 or even 3 option to Maxey growth helps the Sixers compete. The harden situation doesn’t become a problem until Morey ignores reality and uses Sixers money to give his boy the bag. Hopefully, ownership knows better. Elton Brand is still there to keep the evaluation honest.

Embiid is concussion symptom free. Looking line Game 3 is a possibility. Not feeling great about the Sixers stealing one tonight. Heat didn’t even play well on Monday. They clamped down on penetration in the 2nd half and that was all she wrote.

And the obligatory…fuck DeAndre Jordan and fuck Doc Rivers for playing him.

Yeah heat played 1 good quarter. Hope they find more success against the philly zone and find some spot minutes for Dunc

The zone is an abortion because they can’t rebound well as a team and the zone makes that worse. Doc needs to get away from it and play more small ball with in your grill man to man defense. Heat are good but they don’t have those real athletic guys that can take people off the dribble. Ball pressure with a small lineup is their only chance.

People jumping all over Harden for not scoring as much just need to look at how his FGA's have declined from Houston to Brooklyn to Philly.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

His FGA's are likely down because his decline has started and he can't get himself open/create separation like he used to and the refs don't seem to buy his flops as much anymore.

His hammy is the reason he's lost his explosion and the ability to create separation.

And people don't understand the amount of effort and health it takes to hoist up 20-plus FGA's. It involves your legs and arms and a lot of your body, not just the arms (the ones most prominently think used in shooting the ball)....

His shooting is down and he can't get by anyone. This isn't just a fg attempts issue

Now we are back to the hammy excuse. If he thought the hammy was an issue then he should have opt for surgery at the conclusion of last season

He’s not a Batman anymore. This situation is just a reminder of that.

Taking the Sixers and the points plus the under.

Think they steal one tonight, especially if Doc sits Jordan and plays Bassey and Reed at center.....needs to play Harris a little there too.

They were told to officiate Harden and Trae Young differently this past summer.

Makes sense but Doc won’t do it.
