I think Reed was the plan but he showed why he shouldn’t be the plan. He fouls too much! That’s why Bassey had to be part of the plan.

Same with Bassey. From as early as the announcement of the trade, I said that they need to bring Bassey from the G League and give the dude some run in the regular season. Same with Bball Paul. They have struggled with depth all year.

Their lack of minutes though is more of a product of Doc’s M.O. In every stop since Orlando, he’s had a refusal to play and develop young talent. He always defers to the vet stubbornly.
