We knew it was coming.

I don't agree with it.

I would have gone with Embiid.

But, Joker's resume stacks up as well.
Only because defense isn’t a strong consideration and NBA media is full of shit.

I still think the Heat has to be the favorite just because they have home court advantage in this best of 3. But the momentum has swung.
Yep. Game 5 is a less Herculean task than Game 7. Have to ride that momentum they’ve earned and steal Game 5.

You favor defense, they favor Jokic's all around offensive game.

He's a 7 foot Steve Nash, who also won the award twice.

It is what it is.
Never again though. They ignored him getting exposed by the Suns when he was targeted and cooked as a defensive liability in the playoffs last year. Then the same exact thing happened this year. You’re not MVP when getting targeted is a big reason why your team goes home each spring.

Nash's teams were top 3 in the league both years.

There's a guy on your team that won MVP that has been a shit defender his entire career.

Again: the pluses, and minuses , for Jokic is due to his size.

We marvel at his passing abilities because he is a 7 footer.

We shit on his skewed defensive stats because he is a 7 foofer.

He doesn't fit into positional norms.

That's a major factor in his appeal.

But, NBA History is littered with MVP's that aren't goid defenders.

Outside of Dirk, all have been guards, until Joker.

But, there is precedent.

But, everyone knows Jokic puts up half of those numbers in Denver where they have an altitude advantage over every team...

Dude, c'mon...

You are reaching.

I get that you are bummed.

But, this is getting ridiculous.

You think Embiid's assist numbers will go thru the roof if he plays in a higher altitude?

Sixers now 2-0 when I have Covid. Back to school tomorrow as long as I’m symptom free. However, if the Sixers find themselves down again in the series, I am ready to take one for the team and start licking railings.
What was it like?

Bam is definitely getting exposed a little these playoffs on the offensive side. Still one of the best in the league on the D end but I gotta agree I like Mobley and JJJ upside better.
He's really good, just not as good as somebody would have you believe when posting all the tweets about him.
