This is the kind of series that really helps a young team, IF they can win it. I’m not thinking about the alternative.

Yeah, until it isn't. Crazier things have happened before, I don't see why people thought this title was going to be a walk in the park for OKC.
I didn’t think that

It is interesting.

Admittedly Denver is playing OKC a lot tougher than I thought possible.

As soon as they decided to change coaches when they did, I wrote them off.

Minnesota is a flawed team to be sure. But they have some interesting pieces and I believe they are a tricky matchup for OKC assuming the Thunder advance.

Now that Cleveland is out and Boston is Tatumless, I don’t believe anyone left in the east has enough to beat OKC 4 out of 7.

Minnesota is the biggest threat remaining IMO.

I felt Denver was the best team to try and knock them off based on them being more experienced as former champions, size, and really they don't have anyone that can stop Jokic. I agree without the cavs and the celtics I don't know about the knicks or pacers beating OKC. I also feel that OKC has a deeper bench, better coach, and more versatile team than Minny. I don't think Ant man can show out every game like Jokic is doing in this series.

What did you think?
I thought OKC would win the title but with a tough battle exactly like what is happening. Still do. Thought Boston would be their finals opponent like everyone else too, that’s a lot more in doubt

Jokic hasn’t shown out every day though. Games 3,4,5 he was ordinary or even below average

Boston can still make it to the finals; even without Tatum, they're that talented. And I say this as someone who hates Boston, and wants nothing more than to see them fail.

I agree they aren’t completely done yet, still have a shot at the finals

Literally no one that knows basketball said that.
Eh, you were pretty strident before this series about how historic the Thunder regular season was and how they'd be beating teams in the playoff by double digits without any real challenges. You have to admit things aren't going as smoothly as you were projecting...

Go find me the words no real challenges. No one is that dumb. If I said what you think it would have been prefaced by “if they continued like they have all season”. I don’t mind being wrong though. I’ll say it now, when this team hits their peak in the playoffs no one is going to want anything to do with them. The question is when, not if.

This is the stridency I meant...you've been overselling them. Now you're saying "when they hit their peak"

This might be their peak...winning a title with a lot of long challenging series is how it looks like it will happen.

A title is a title, I’ll take it. The Thunder have a lot of years to be as dominant as you seem to want. Your team is done dude, no reason to reference the past. You have the memories. And by the way, I’ve been stating facts, nothing more.

You actually are not stating facts. It's not a fact when you said "when they hit their peak no one is going to want to have anything to do with them"
