The Oldtimer
Older than dirt!!
Why is that?No reason why the Warriors should not be tied 2-2 at that point.

it does give you hope- but you hate to see injuries- especially to the best most exciting players. It robs us all of something. Thats just how the ball bounces though. No matter what season you need luck to win the title.None.
I'm a Curry fan.
I'm not sure why this benefits the Clippers.
Is it a 2 for 1 special?
Does Kawhi have to sit out too?
Plus, let's keep it one hundred....
Clippers beating a Curry-less Warriors is 50/50 at best.
No- the best way to maximize is to WIN and get rest while waiting for the next series.Any chance the Warriors give game 5 away on purpose... to maximize Curry's availability against the Clippers???

...the Clippers have not gotten passed the Blazers yet.Steph will be fine for that series. 85%-90% Steph is better than most of the league. 2nd round doesn't start until next week and conference finals doesn't start until the end of May. He will be good for WCF. Issue is getting past the Clippers
Yes, but this Warriors team can get them a couple of wins against either team in the 2nd round. There is no need to panic here.Yeah, that would definitely be my approach... and good point about the health of the rest of the roster.
Just playing devils advocate though... if the Warriors and Clippers both win in 5... they could start that series as soon as Friday.
If one of them goes longer... that buys more time for Curry to recover.
None.

Umm no because he didn't get hurt until the playoffs.Has anybody wondered yet if Curry doesn't get hurt in the first place if he had skipped the last (single season win record-setting) game?
Somebody's gotta do it if not...
If it is only 2 weeks Steph SHOULD be able to go by a hypothetical Spurs series. It seems likely he will play in a potential Spurs series- just that its unlikely he would be 100%- from how i have interpreted and understand the situation anyway.

The Spurs have NEVER won back to back titles because its just SOOO hard to do and get things to fall your way for 2 whole years in a row. It doesnt happen often.
Golden State has had a lot of good luck the last past 2+ years....i will be very interested to see how they handle this adversity. Their chances took a shot last night- but they are still there as it looks to be only a Grade 1 Sprain.
Yeah... in the minutes that have passed since I posed that question... I've realized what an idiotic question it was. For many reasons.
Depending on how much it takes out of them to reach the Spurs could be a issue.
Plus, he gets reevaluated in 2 weeks. Doesn't mean he can go.
Seriously, fuck the Clippers.
We are not getting to the Finals.
I'm disappointed as a basketball fan because Spurs vs. Warriors then one of those Teams vs Cavs/ Heat would have been epic.
I was looking forward to that shit.
I hear ya. A true fan of the game wants to see each team at it's best.Hope to what?
Lose to the Spurs...?.lol
Cheap way to possibly get out of the 2nd round.
Interesting...because I don't think Spurs are getting past OKC.

But it's understandable that some fans just want to finally see their team win something- even if it has little meaning behind it.
