It's just really hard to know whether the Warriors are being cautious or aggressive or in the middle with their 2 week timeline.

We might have a better idea after the press conference.
Exactly. I tend to think they're not letting on exactly how much time he will need- especially if we're using his last injury & prognosis as any indication. They really never lead on how bad the ankle injury was and when he started the game Sunday he looked fine. Hopefully this is a same case scenario.

thats the thing- once you start getting leg injuries and trying to play through them they start effecting other things....Kyrie started with a bad ankle last postseason and he over compensated and thats when he hurt the opposite knee....
Not sure that was the case here, He just slipped where that greasy Lithuanian dude just slid through. Unfortunately he hurt the same leg. Just wasn't meant to be for the Dubs this year,

NBA announced start date for the HOU/GSW vs LAC/POR series as may 1st. Unless clips blazers goes 7 in which case it would start on the 3rd.

Going with the May 1st date... 2 weeks from today would likely fall between game 4 and game 5.

BTW- saw the Byron firing. Who do you think would be a good replacement?

You don't want to know. But let's just say I'm glad I never threw away my Luuuke t-shirt from when he was with the Lakers.

Well, guess it's time for Klay to step up. The roster is still deep. They just need to end this series ASAP and get some practice time running the offense through Klay. It's a tall task but I wouldn't write off the postseason because the Warriors have to get through the Clippers. Not saying the Clippers aren't a solid team but the W's are still pretty good without Curry.

Yeah, Blake is not 100%, DJ is still DJ, Crawford might go for 30. But, he could just as easily disappear without a trace.

Paul can't beat the Blazers by himself. So, there's no way he can beat the Warriors solo.

yah thats the thing--- this Clippers team is far from a well oiled machine with how long Griffin has been out. If you told me that Curry would not play a game i think i would still slightly favor the Warriors just because i dont trust the mental toughness and continuity of the Clippers.

Who knows- maybe the Clippers get a sense of urgency and see an opportunity- i mean- if i were them i would tell myself- maybe we have a chance now vs. GSW and we DID get the Spurs last year (which doesnt mean much- but still ya gotta tell yourselves something!) so maybe this is our year. I mean- they do have two top 15 guys in Blake and CP...

Itll be a fascinating series that is for sure.

Players need to gut up. Injuries happen. It's part of the game. The series has gotten a lot more interesting. May the best team win.

:tea:

My Team is notorious for choking.

So, we gotta get there first.

They should see tonight as a must win.

No need to tempt fate.

Fucking Max Kellerman saying that Curry got hurt because the Dubs pushed him too hard in order to get 73 wins.

They are a slightly above average team without Curry and if you think they are better than The Clippers, Thunder and Spurs without Curry you are delusional.

Thompson shrinks from the light when he is the man. He does well as the second banana ala Scottie Pippin. He gets nervous when he is on the spot. No Curry = no title.

You don't think the All-Star ... the "Top 10 NBA Player" ... Draymond Green could carry the Warriors to a title ?

That is one issue I've had with people saying Draymond is a Top 10 NBA player. There is a big difference between being the leader of the team on offense vs. being the 3rd-4th option. I'm not a big James Harden fan, but he can carry a good NBA team on offense ... and I don't think Draymond could do that. If Draymond was on teams like the Wolves or Grizzles or Blazers or Knicks or Lakers (or almost any other NBA team) ... he would still be the 3rd/4th option on offense.
