Expirence and coaching.

Will Joe Mazz get any respect from the SportsHoopla experts?

They just beat the Pacers at home in back-2-back games when Indy was being praised for being undefeated at home.

Great use of TOs and sitting Jayson for that short stint after picking up his 5th PF.
4 games … no choke … no lackadaisical plays … this is a different team

Joe has grown up a lot since last year

As lopsided as the conference finals been on paper, these games been damn good

We are 1 Boston 3rd quarter blitz in game 2 from all 7 games being really good
I remember Lakeres Nuggets was like that last year, Lakers got swept but they were in every game

I am really trying to stay out of this stuff man.

You just trying to start drama.

By the letter of the law it is probably a flagrant. But the rule is stupid. Because that play was a straight up freak accident. Brown put his hand up to try to get the ball and the body positions of the players combined with the size difference made the contact look really bad.

what do you want Brown to do different on that play? Get out of the way?

Should have been a flagrant by the letter of the law. But would have been a hell of a soft flagrant.

And you getting so bent of shape about it is pretty funny.

He's still a baby. Bright future ahead.

Really though?

This team is so clearly superior to everyone they have faced. Dallas too.

Celtics should win the title this year 100%. Dallas is the first team they will see that actually has a legit chance to beat them. And even then, Celtics are the better team.

I am not going blast the coach when the team beats people they are supposed to beat, but let’s not get too carried away with the praise either.

This is exactly how bad coaches get locked in long term with teams. Not saying Mazzula is a bad coach, but I haven’t seen anything that makes me think he is a good one either.

Sometimes guys are just in the right place at the right time.

Exactly.

Some fans think Darvin Ham was a good HC after the Lakers made it to the WCF after the up and down season they had in 2022-2023.

There are plenty on here that have nothing good to say about him.

He's young you can't dispute that.

Many coaches have had the best team on paper yet have failed to win it all. It's more than just Xs and Os.

I didn't say put him in the HOF. I said he his future looks bright.

What has he done beside take his team to the finals ECF finals 2 years in a row. 2nd most wins in the East last year. 64 games this most in the league this year. Undefeated on the road during the playoffs this year...

What makes you and others give him zero credit.

Hat's off to the Pacers... they played tough.

These no good, can't-please Celtics are now 12-2 overall this postseason, 6-0 on the road.

Because when a coach wins with a super talented team, they were supposed to win.

This team is hands down the best and deepest in the league.

Best Dallas?

Then maybe he can get a little praise. He doesn’t earn it for beating 3 vastly inferior teams. The Celtics should be exactly where they are.

One thing about Mazz... the players seem to genuinely like and respect him.

I'm not sure that was ever true for a guy like Ham.
