You know there might be something to that. I forget who said this maybe Dusty Baker but the idea is after 10+ years it’s sometimes time to move on even if you’ve had a lot of success, it all gets stale. Spo would have his pick of teams and Miami could start fresh with new ideas

There are two ways to treat the play-in:

Lose bc you need to rebuild

Win bc you have a young team that needs playoff experience

I guess there is an option for a team that was killed with injuries and their goal is to win-no rebuild

Miami should have lost but you just don’t play the game like that
