Is carrying ( while dribbling the ball ) no longer a violation for the officials to call??

Because I've not seen it whistled for a very long time now all around the league nearly as much as it used to be just a few seasons ago.

So many players in the league on every team have been blatantly carrying the ball more often than you'd think.
Perhaps it's up to the ref's discretion on whether it's overly obvious or not?

I hate playing Miami. It doesn’t matter who is on the team they have an identity. Honestly if they had Rozier from years ago or a true starting PG this team would compete with anyone in the East
