I thought Rodgers played poorly and Brady was good in the first half but really bad in the second half.

Pretty much if the chiefs play to their abilities, there was no NFC team this year that can beat them.

For the bucs to win in two weeks, the Chiefs are going to have to play a bad game.

Yeah. If you can't trust your offense to score a TD from 8 yards away, then why even play the game? It's not like it was 4th and 30.

Not to mention (if you failed the 2 point try) you are only down 2 needing only 50-55 yards to get into FG range to try and win it. Instead of needing to stop Brady and also get a TD

Yeah i've dealt with this mindset enough with Pete Carroll.

Basically you are trusting your defense to force a 3 and out or your special teams to convert an outside kick instead of trusting arguably the MVP of the league and dude you are paying 30+ mill to convert a 4th and 8.

Ill never understand that kind of coaching logic.

Yeah, totally. On 4th and goal from the 8, all you need is one play from your offense (which happens to be led by a great QB), and then you get about a 50-50 chance at converting the 2. Taking the FG and kicking it off means that your defense needs to make at least 3 plays to keep the other team from getting a first down, and then your offense probably needs to make several more plays to successfully complete a 60-70 yard drive for the TD that you now need because you passed up on going for a TD from 8 yards away.
