.248 on the road

.314 at home

and for how bad he has bene in the 2nd half, he still has a .344 OBP and draws a lot of walks...35. he walked 61 times in his first 84 games this year....now has 35 walks in 41 2nd half games.

He's not giving the Yankees what they need, though.

yup. and regardless of his .179 second half avg, he still leads the AL in HR and walks.

Yeah, I don't get it.

The only thing I can see that slightly makes sense is because the Rangers would end up ending the season with a real long road trip. But that doesn't even excuse it because it's Houston. It's not like they are swapping series with New York or Boston. It's just right down the road.

Instead, both teams now have to travel all the way to Florida to play this series.

John Daniels is an idiot.

Did the Astros touch Beltre's head?

I don't know.

Pretty shameful act by Daniels, that's for sure.

Really is... Freaking change it for christ sakes, they've suffered enough and are still continuing to suffer

Rangers are trying to gain extra home games for a desperate WC push.

Hopefully the Astros send a message

I'd prefer its Odor.

Yeah, given everything happening in Texas right now shame on the Rangers for not making the changes. You'd think they'd make the accommodations needed.

In August, the Indians have faced BOS, NYY, COL, MIN, KCR and TBR.

All six opponents are in the playoff hunt and were .500 or better when the Indians faced them.

Tribe is 17-9 over that stretch.

Also, Houston is fucking overrated.

Which will make it all the more hilarious if they beat the Indians in the postseason.

Royals pitcher Duffy cited for DUI in Kansas

Authorities in Kansas say Royals pitcher Danny Duffy has been cited for driving under the influence.

The Kansas City Star reported that the infraction happened Sunday night in the Kansas City suburb of Overland Park. Police spokesman Brian Payne said he could not release further details until the police report is completed, probably sometime Tuesday afternoon. Payne didn't immediately return a phone message from The Associated Press.

Royals general manager Dayton Moore said in a statement that the team was "obviously disappointed" in the arrest but that Duffy "has always been accountable as a member of this organization."
