The ESPN guys said something interesting, about how Wilson licks his fingers before every pitch. They claimed that's not allowed...true or false?

I totally scoffed at that comment - are they going to do a nasal check before each inning? Every other pitcher seems to be making some motion to his face, wipe a brow, shoot out a snotball, or lick his fingers. What an asinine comment..precisely one that one would expect from the national broadcast (have us Giants fans become broadcast elitists or what?)
