Not really....I will agree about robbed on one of those losses for sure though. I'm not sure this experiment in Brooklyn is going work.out for the old school fans. They have to win soon to fill the seats. And do t get me started o. That damn Toyota suv with the best seats in the house on the glass. At least sell the interior seats if you're going to waste them anyway......

I haven't been there for a game yet, but I hear it's not the best venue for sports events. Being in the playoffs in the first couple of years at Barclays will help make some new fans that are local, one would think.

But Brooklyn isn't quite as...um...don't know how to say this w/out coming off all racist, but...it's not so middle-class white. The Rangers already have that demographic locked up in the Boros.

Didn't they win the WS in spite of Yost?

I'm asking for a friend
His tactics are hilariously awful. Brewers fans will tell you the same thing for the most part. He gets along great with the players at least which seems to earn him his good reputation as of late.

Antonio Bastardo pulled off the great escape yesterday at Petco...
Inherited a bases loaded, no outs, possible shit storm in the 8th inning..and somehow got out of it with no damage.

That was pretty hard to believe. When Reed loaded them up, I thought to myself "ahh, 2015 Mets again"

Was really happy to get the split there, we just can't win in SD.

You'd think the crowd out east would like the new setup.....no.more duis on the way home. But your right they got old school resentment for brklyn demographics and it isn't about lumberjacks with man buns but I'm sure they hat them too.

I know @black francis has had a "Fire Ned Yost" campaign for several years now. Don't know if the local chapter disbanded after last fall or if they just went to a month-by-month lease

With his 2 HR's last night in the Bronx against the Yankees, David Ortiz now has 454 home runs as a Red Sox player, two more than Carl Yastrzemski on the club’s all-time list. The top spot on the list is probably out of reach for Ortiz. Ted Williams occupies that real estate, with 521 home runs in a Boston uniform.

* He also hit 58 HR with the Minnesota Twins (512 career total)

Bryce Harper walked 6 times

and 15 years later, the Yankees still pitch to David Ortiz

I know Baker probably doesn't want to have two lefties back to back, but Murphy is still red hot...might keep Harper from being walked so much if they slotted Daniel up behind Bryce for a while.

Let's consult Dusty's magic dugout dice:

I would have "liked" this more than once if allowed.

I don't know any fanbase that likes that 8PM Sunday game. They should replace it with Dodgeball or something
More or less it was a good tool to highlight west coast baseball.

Hey, you can't argue w/Dusty, he gets reSULTS or something

I actually like Dusty. I don't agree with his managing philosophy often, but his players enjoy playing for him which is something, I guess. The players didn't like Matt Williams. I just wish we could have gotten a guy that players like to play for AND managed the game like a sane person. Is that too much to ask? :noidea:
