Their best efforts came under Pelini in the B1G. Which still they never finished with under 4 losses.

The year they did make the B1G title game they got nuked 70-31 by a 5 loss Wisconsin team that only got in the game cause Ohio State and Penn State were not eligible. So basically got ran over by a 3rd place division team.

They weren't losing their shit at the possibility of Nebraska going rouge, they were laughing as if they had the juice to do it like many nu fans thought they had.

If that meant losing one's shit, does that apply for the Big12 losing it's shit because Nebraska was ready to play a season in a conference they left because of Big Bad Tejas?

This whole show that was performed this week was to rile up the fanbase, players, current recruits, so they would know they wanted to play. Most of us saw this, while a few in here really thought this was going to be possible

Back in 2011 when the whole conference showdown started, Nebraska was put to the test by Texas and Big 12 Commish Beebe to sign on for whatever while while TX, OU, Tech, and A&M were openly and seriously looking to move to the Pac 10 and Mizzou was actually the supposed insider on the Big 10.

Somehow it became a 'Nebraska' problem for us to answer within 24 hours.

After a few 1-11 votes in the Big 12 early on in the conference and now everybody again against Nebraska, an out was given to Nebraska to be a member in a much better and stable conference. Thus Nebraska left. That shouldn't be hard for anybody to understand.

Now?

Look man it sucks that the season this fall is over and that Nebraska is going to lose like 100 million and the economy is going to take another hit in Lincoln. But you have to take the bad with the good. It was all good a year ago, no need to rock the boat and make the conference look unstable because of the extraordinary circumstances we are in.

Texas is the most under performing program in the entire country Nebraska has been down but compared to texas remaining level when you have all the talent in the world in your own back yard and you cant do anything with it is way more embarrassing then Nebraska's win/loss record. Your program flat lined IN 2010 and apparently you don't remember the Charlie Strong era..... it is yet to be determined if Herman has what it takes to take texas to the next level.

So you are comparing Nebraska working with a 18 year old to clear his name of being a sex offender when said 18 year old was having consensual sex with a girl. And trying to get and keep his life on the right track. All to which is scorned Nebraska as gratitude. About the timeline, what is wrong with wanting to gather all the information you possibly could before reacting to such allegations. So do you think they should have had a knee jerk reaction and just booted him? I think that taking your time and putting as many peices together as you can is exactly what they should have done and did. Also they was working with the California legal system and figuring out who has jurisdiction over what.

Tell me how you would have handled the situation.
