I think this makes the most sense. The Bears want Trubisky to win the competition so barring injury or Foles outplaying him by a lot in the preseason, he will. Then the regular season will start, Trubisky will suck like he always has and the Bears will go to Foles for a while. Sidenote: who is their #3 because there's a good chance he may get a shot too before the season is up...

Pretty much, I believe. Neither MT or NF are the answer....and the Bears have limited ammo in this years draft to move up to get any shot at the upper tiered guys.

Trubisky needs a smoke and mirrors offense to be effective and Foles is incredibly streaky. I wouldn't bet on either with any real confidence.
