Good W tonight. Bench played well.
I think , barring a 1-3/0-4 finish, i cant see them worse than a 5. Now what would be interesting is a 3-1 type finish and a win or 2 in the B10 tourney.Iowa looking more and more safe for the 4 line with everyone around them losing this week. Oregon goes down tonight.

Would a 23-10 Iowa with 11ish Q1 wins get a 3 seed? 10 losses is a lot for a 3 but with so many Q1 wins i think theyd have a shot
Damn Iowa can score. If I'm one of the top two seeds in each region, I'd hate to look at the bracket and see Iowa, Illinois, Creighton, Oregon, Texas Tech or Villinova in my bracket. Those look to be a real pain in the ass IMO. Maybe not "great" per se, but just the shits to have to play.Iowa looking more and more safe for the 4 line with everyone around them losing this week. Im guessing a 2-2 finish and hopefully a double bye and a W in the tourney. If that happens id think a 5 is worst case unless some teams get real hotIt's certainly attainable. UNC was a 2 seed in 2018, with a 25-10 record and with 12 Q1 wins. Biggest difference is their Non Con SOS was 8. Iowa's will be in the 190's. That might drop them a seed line lower than what their projected Q1 win total would be.
Well shit has got REAL interesting this week on the race for the double bye
Iowa
MSU
PSU
Wisky
Illinois
Michigan
6 teams separated by 1 game. Crazy.
Who you got for the 2-4 finish?
If im Minnesota im picking up the phone and calling Bobby Jackson. The program needs excitement and needs to keep in state guys. Nothing better for that than an ex Gopher. I think hes on the Kings staff now so hed have NBA cache too
Its a risk but even if it doesnt work i doubt hed do worse than Pitino this year
It's going to be even more interesting after this week's games...most of these teams play the teams that are in the top half of the standings...so OSU, Rutgers, IU and Purdue could scrap their way back into it...and Maryland isn't a lock for #1 with their closing schedule...the balance of competition is either awesome or just a conference without a dominant team...depending on how you choose to see it.
Im going to need to read up on the tiebreakers lol. Could be like 8 teams with 11 or 12 wins by year endThis is what the B1G tournament would look like if it started today.
First Round:
#13 Nebraska vs. #12 Purdue
#14 Northwestern vs. #11 Minnesota
Second Round:
#9 Ohio State vs. #8 Rutgers
#13 Nebraska/#12 Purdue vs. #5 MSU
#10 Indiana vs. #7 Michigan
#14 Northwestern/#11 Minnesota vs. #6 Illinois
Quarterfinals:
#9 Ohio State/#8 Rutgers vs. #1 Maryland
#13 Nebraska/#12 Purdue/#5 MSU vs. #4 Iowa
#10 Indiana/#7 Michigan vs. #2 Penn State
#14 Northwestern/#11 Minnesota/#6 Illinois vs. #3 Wisconsin

I wont worry about it til 6 teams finish 12-8. That will be funLol. It's your overall record against the teams you're tied with. In the case of today PSU has the best record against the teams tied in 2nd. If there are only two teams tied in the standings it goes to head to head. After that it goes down to best win. It's why OSU gets the nod ahead of IU.
An Illinois win tonight, and I think MSU would move up to 2nd. Lol.

Its tough because they all play each other the last 4 or 5 so all those games impact tiebreakers with other teams too lolIf I had to guess right now, if say MD, PSU, Wisconsin and Iowa are the teams that would finish 1-4. But man it's so tough to predict. I'd say Wisconsin probably has the best chance of getting 2nd.
Northwestern is so incredibly bad. It's actually impressive.
The announcer keeps mentioning how they are young and building towards something.......odd considering their only competent player is Spencer........a grad transfer senior.
The rest of their team look like borderline D2
