If I had to guess right now, if say MD, PSU, Wisconsin and Iowa are the teams that would finish 1-4. But man it's so tough to predict. I'd say Wisconsin probably has the best chance of getting 2nd.

Wisconsin at times looks pretty average, but still find a way to win despite losing their 2nd leading scorer

There are some Wi fans who want Gard fired, I'd be ok with that.

We have some dandy fans...they believe that UW is some elite destination for everything...even if they don't pay like other destination schools...they're so out of touch with reality they scare the shit out of me

PSU is just beating themselves up. If Myreon isn't back by next game I'm offering my immune system to him

They just have a winning culture about that program. I'd argue Minnesota has a more talented starting 5, but we buckle at every corner. We choke under the pressure. The Iowa and IU games were perfect examples of that this season. Two winnable games at home and we completely blow it.

Wisconsin looked like it was headed nowhere during the Non Conf, now they could easily find themselves as the #2 seed in the B1G tournament.

Holy cow Frazier has hit two 3s in a row. Last one was about a 60-70 footer before the half against Nebraska (just past free throw line on the other side of the court)

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a shot go down that far from the basket in regulation in all my days

This one was similar but in a bigger moment ( conference tourney to force another OT )

I'd say it's a little of both.

It's not like every team in the middle is a Final 4 contender, far from it.

But at the same time, the balance is unbelievable. Almost every team is a tournament team and playing a tournament team on the road is tough.

For instance, I'd say if Gonzaga and SDSU played in this conference, they'd probably be right around 4 or 5 losses right now.

Well, if Gonzaga had to play in the B1G from way back in 2000, they would have NEVER made the NCAA tourney, so they would have never gotten any of the good recruits that helped get them where they are now.

That's gotta be one of the dumbest things I've seen someone say.

Big 10 stretch run starts tonight

Should be really fun

10 teams in right now imo

Purdue needs 4 more wins i think

Gophers probably need 5

I think if we managed to win out and lose in the B1G tournament in the 1st round, there's a chance we get in. We'd have 8 Q1 wins. It would be close, but we won't do that anyway.

Also, I am intrigued to see which SOS metric is used? I had been under the assumption that it would be the one associated with the NET, but I heard someone from the NCAA talk about the strength of record metric which is associated with the BPI. The SOS's between the two are of s wide variety.

It's obvious that all fanbases have their special cross to bear.

Yeah for some reason Gophers fans(not all of us) tend to knock on Gonzaga of all teams. I personally don't understand it. Maybe it has to do with Dan Monson? Who the hell knows.

That's probably exactly what it is, Monson's inability to duplicate his success in Minny. Being a moron probably doesn't help either.

Which I never got. Monson didn't do all that much worse than Tubby and currently what Pitino is doing, and he was restricted with NCAA sanctions. Up until the 2017 season, Monson had the best season this century in 2005.

Well wouldve been great to get this one but going 2-1 over the last 3 with Weiskamp being awful and CJ being out is a ok by me. CJ should be back for PSU. Go 2-1/3-0 the last 3, get a double bye then see what happens

I didn't see the game, but I do see we gave up 51 points in the second half. Fran-ball alive and well.
