I think I would have them around 3. Not sure I would put the Ravens, Chiefs, or Packers above them at this point. I believe New Orleans is the best team in the league and would keep the Pats at 2.

New Orleans is a scary football team and I would not want to play them in that Dome come playoff time. The upcoming Monday night game will be interesting. I think the 49ers will win I mean they had 11 days of rest and preparation for this game. Not to mention it is a home game on prime time.

I also think the Saints are the most complete team in football right now. The 9ers are very good though and I think they will beat the Hawks Monday. I have no allusions about the Hawks being great but they might go into Santa Clara and pull off the upset if A) the Oline plays great,B) RW continues his high level of play and C) the defense steps up bigtime and forces JimmyG to make mistakes.
One thing I think will happen for sure is the Hawks will have a big day running the ball. As good as the 9ers D is, they have shown they aren't really good at stopping the run. I think the schedule coming up is going to be interesting because they are going to face some teams that can run the ball on them. Saints, Packers, Ravens, Hawks all good running teams. Big tests coming up for sure.

I think the 49er's are the 6th team in the league right now... They're frauds... Garrop is not the reason for their season...

If it were the playoffs, i'd take the following teams ahead of them due to Garrop = J. Winston,

New Orleans
New England
Kansas City
Green Bay
Baltimore

So in the playoffs you would take ravens and ne over SF?

lmfao.... new to football?

Well then, we could nickname him Spunky, or The Spunkster, or maybe even Spunkmiester.

Wasn't one of those names the first guy to get "Aliened" in Aliens?? Just before the lander crashed?? Maybe is was just Spunkmeir?

Yep, Spunkmeyer and the pilot bought it causing the transport to crash

Christ, that movie is 33 years old. Still one of the best sequels ever IMO

In my BluRay box set it is unfortunately a Director's Cut. Theatrical worked better....

But yes, a great sequel.

We already have a bunch of these threads and the talking heads on the networks are going all gaga over them. Good team and good on them but JimmyG hasn't really done or had to do anything special. Let's wait and see how it all plays out. God forbid Kittle gets hurt or some other key injuries. Not wishing bad karma here. It's just that we are only halfway. The real test for every team is down the stretch. Attrition, tougher competition play big roles and experience matters.

We'll defintitely know more after the 1st SEA game.

"We will know more after the 9ers play the panthers"

After the Seattle game it will be... "we will know more after the Packers game"

What is untrue about any of those statements?

that the author of each one seems to have learned nothing from the game they said they would learn more from....... because the 9ers won. The intent wasn't to learn anything, the intent was to hope the 9ers lose and then say.... see, I told you the 9ers weren't that good. Then the 9ers win, and they simply pick the next toughest game on the schedule to move the sticks to. Sooner or later I suspect the 9ers will lose a game.... and when they do, they are still a top NFL team. Learn that.

@CruiseControl

My problem with the 49ers is this is all out of nowhere.

They've been pretty shitty for a few seasons now.

Add to that that the strength of schedule so far... But I think they, the 49ers, might be pretty decent.

Be great if they were.

That’s true, but they lost their QB to an ACL. That can tank most teams. They were actually ok with Jimmy before he got hurt.
