I’m bummed Pavelski is leaving, however it’s a smart hockey move to let him walk for 7mil per season the risk to reward factor just isn’t worth it. It’s clear Pavelski is going for the money and it’s not a hockey decision, which I can’t blame him it’s likely his last contract. Stanley cup chances went backwards for him

Pavs gone. 21 mil for 3 years. Too much for an aging and breaking down older player. Meier signed for 4 years though. I like that. Still need goaltending help badly and someone to help fill the Pavs lost 35 goals. If goaltending could improve significantly they wouldn't need all those 35 goals back.
