November 14, 2018:
202. Philadelphia 76ers over Orlando Magic
203. Washington Wizards over Cleveland Cavaliers
204. Boston Celtics over Chicago Bulls
205. Brooklyn Nets over Miami Heat
206. Detroit Pistons over Toronto Raptors
207. Milwaukee Bucks over Memphis Grizzlies
208. New Orleans Pelicans over Minnesota Timberwolves
209. Oklahoma City Thunder over New York Knicks
212. Utah Jazz over Dallas Mavericks
210. San Antonio Spurs over Phoenix Suns
211. Portland Trail Blazers over Los Angeles Lakers

I think the Bulls have a chance, but I won't pick them.

Griffin is going to score a lot more than in recent games. Also, Valanciunas, the guy I said immediately that the Jazz should have picked over Kanter, never seems to have big scoring games, even though he's a career 54% shooter.

I was tempted to pick Minnesota, but won't.

Because the Jazz didn't win by 22 against Dallas last time, they'll struggle this time.

Now, you switched where the Jazz or from the end to the third from the end… How was that easier? I’m just joking.

:)

It's easier for me to verify that no games were missed, than to trust someone else didn't miss games.

If I could watch one game today, I'd try Bucks-Grizzlies. I haven't checked the stats, but they are probably two of the better teams at points in the paint. So I'd want to see how that would play out.

Plus I like inter-conference games.

But, no League Pass, and the early ESPN game is too early for me, and I rarely DVR regular season games.

The latter ESPN game is interesting because of Portland, but dis-interesting because of the Lakers, so it probably means I'll watch a movie or something instead.

And I did try reddit streams once this year. Worked pretty well, but I don't want to keep doing it. Fear of viruses and adware.

You still haven't told me what you think of Doncic. Maybe after this game?

So by your numbering system, are you going to get to 1230 games exactly, if you predict every game?

This will be a test to see if any games are missed.

How dare you imply that I would ever miss a game! Just kidding, I’m not a robot. I can make mistakes.

Yes, I posted a thread on the NBA general board after we play at 124 (couldn’t get exactly 123) games saying that it was 1/10th of the season through and asked for people’s opinions of how the season has gone so far.

I know, it was too early. My next checkin is at the quarter mark, halfway mark, and then the end.

The speech recognition didn't know bored from board. :)

November 14, 2018:

Because the Jazz didn't win by 22 against Dallas last time, they'll struggle this time.

I've read this in ESPN's Daily Dime several times this decade.

Whenever a team wins by 50 points, they lose the next time.

I think this decade, it's almost always been true.

Thanks. You had set turnovers to less than or equal to 21. I changed it to greater than or equal to 21, since I wanted worse turnovers.

I also changed the FT% to .632 instead of .63, so yesterday's game would be counted.

And I changed the 3-point % to .171.

Darn it, I can't get yesterday's game to come up.

Ok, I had to change it to .172, because the more precise FT% was .1714.

The Jazz are 3 - 9, .250 under these conditions:

I also changed the filter to include the playoffs.

All NBA teams are 35 - 136, with no wins coming in the playoffs.

If we take out the Jazz 3 - 9, then the rest of the NBA is 32 - 127, .2013.

So the Jazz have performed slightly better than the rest of the league, in these games. But with only 12 games played, 1 win or less could change that percentage a lot.

The last win by any team under these conditions was in 2013.

Now that is "special".

Yeah, I don’t know what I was thinking. Obviously, I meant more than 21 but was doing. As long is I didn’t make a mistake of under or over 18. Just kidding.

Isn't the legal age of consent 16 in some states?

Let November 15 be the first day that we both agree on the outcomes.

Let's see of we're both 100% right.
