If this trade were on the table before the start of the season, in many leagues there probably would have been a call to veto, provided it's a league where QBs have typical value relative to other positions. So mellow out. Trades should be made in good faith based on guessing what happens in the future, and comparing the past few weeks may only be a fraction of that calculus.

I'm not sure why this is even a question. DJ, while underperforming thus far, still one of the best RB's in the game. Mahommes is one of the top QB's, seems like a fair deal.

If anything I'd be concerned the guy getting Mahommes has the advantage in the deal. There's no reason to even consider a veto

Yeah, if I had Mahommes and another option I'd try to sell him fer an upgrade. DJ hasn't been putting up his usual numbers but I see nothing at all wrong with that trade. Which side is it that you don't like? I can make an argument fer either side............................

I am always anti-veto unless there is a clear case of two guys colluding, a guy with a shit team blatantly not caring... etc... That's what the veto is for.

So long as both parties are genuinely trying to make their team better. The deal should stand. That's my philosophy.

Honestly, even if I was liberal with the idea of "veto" enforcement - I didn't even know who the OP thought was getting screwed when I read this. It seems fine...

fair enough, assuming that the DJ owner needs to upgrade QB and the Mahomes owner needs to upgrade RB

even if one end looks lopsided, if both teams improve or at least are trying to improve, you shouldn't ever veto a trade

like the others have stated, collusion is obvious when it happens, if you can't clearly see it, it isn't happening.
