Advanced stats agree: His UZR/150 last year was -17.4, which is good for 2nd last on the team for those who have played >100 innings in the outfield.kim is a poor lf .

However... I'd say that Kim's primary contribution to the team comes from the fact that he gets on base (0.382 OBP last year, vs. 0.317 for the Orioles as a whole and 0.322 for the entire MLB).
EDIT: Hmmm, another one-run win...
well kim isn't worth dh best as a ph . so far I have been impressed with smiths batKim was 3 for 4 but he cant play the field. thought: DH him at the low end of the order and let Gentry play the field. Now the DH position as a whole for Buck is a homerun hitter but a DH for hits and OBP could sum up a the outfield in which Kim cant play

I can understand why people don't like Kim in the OF. But as a pinch hitter only? That is absurd. The guy that can work the count and can get on base like Kim needs to be more than a pinch hitter. I still don't understand your obsession with hating the guy ever since we signed him.well kim isn't worth dh best as a ph . so far I have been impressed with smiths bat
