Lebron went over the top. I'm still taking chuck in a fight. 2nd round TKO
lol

I'd take Prime Chuck, but Barkley these days needs help whipping his ass he's so out of shape.

LeBron also visits the lab on a yearly basis, dude is juiced to the gills, his testosterone levels are probably similar to a prime Arnold.

very true..... he had nothing to say back to Chuck in regards to the actual issue- so he got angry and personal.....you see a lot of that going around. lol.

i agree with you on the passive aggressive stuff- id much rather see him speak his mind then act passive aggressive and whiny-

it should be entertaining- but in the end- all LeBron has to do is flash his rings to make Barkley look like a fool.
Well, I'm not sure how Barkley responds, but in the end Lebron would be best served to keep this argument on the topic, and on the court, because Barkley would now be in the right, to drudge up some off the court stuff about him

Everyone does. But what matters is - at the end of the day - if you give it you're all with what you've got.

With the possible exception of parts of the 2011 Finals... LeBron has done that. He has been as consistent about giving his all with who's he's got as anyone, imo.

Again.. we're talking about a regular season role player to fill an empty roster spot. Its not like he's asking to add a top-3 player to an already championship level team.
Game 5 against Boston with the Cavs?--- gotta add that one on there...

What's funny is every year I hear people say LeBron's on steroids. Yet oddly enough nobody has any proof of that.

I get what you're saying. LeBron got way more personal than Chuck did. But Barkley said LeBron didn't want to compete.. that he wasn't a competitor.

To athletes, especially hard-working ones like LeBron... there isn't much worse you could say about them.

Well, to be fair, Barkley isn't the first all time great or first person in the media or even the first person in general to question how badly Lebron wants to compete.

Personally, I think Lebron is as competitive as anyone and I think that's where a lot his need to answer every sleight comes from. He just has a passive aggressive way of doing so that comes off as whining and non-competitive.

I agree with Wiggy (can't believe I just typed that lol) Lebron would have been better served to say something like "Tell Chuck to get back to me when he has 3 rings." Heck, Shaq does that to him all the time.

lol, not even going to explain to you how easy it is to pass a drug test.

I'm sure you believe he's faithful to his wife as well.

I'm not sure if saying he is "whiny" is basketball related.

"Inappropriate. Whiny. All of the above," Barkley said of James last week. "The Cleveland Cavaliers, they have given him everything he wanted. They have the highest payroll in NBA history. He wanted J.R. Smith last summer, they paid him. He wanted [Iman] Shumpert last summer. They brought in Kyle Korver. He's the best player in the world. Does he want all of the good players? He don't want to compete? He is an amazing player. They're the defending champs."

In the context that it was used, it absolutely is basketball related. He's pointing out that the Cavs have given him everything he asked for to be able to compete for another title, highest payroll, etc., etc. Basically, he's saying that it's time to quit whining, asking for more and to go out, play basketball and lead his team.

Hey I'm not a LeBron fan but post some proof he's juiced up. Otherwise you're just talking shit. His rumored steroid abuse goes all the back to his HS days. He's in his 14th year in the league. If he was juiced up he would have been busted by now. And mentioning his wife is beyond lame.

Agreed, but that would be a dumb move on Chuck's part.

LeBron would destroy him in a battle of off-the-court issues.

Yeah, I agree. I'm no fan of Lebron, but let's see some actual proof that he's on steroids. Even then, if proof did exist, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't care. I think all of that stuff should be legalized at the professional level.

I mean, this is an internet forum, even I had proof why would I post it?

I know quite a few people in the sports world, and one of my good friends is best friends with a top NBA player now.

But like I said, even if I start name dropping or giving reasons on to why I know this information, you're just going to say I'm full of shit.

So as far as you're concerned, no I don't have proof lmao

It's just odd people insist he's juiced up. But some people are gonna believe what they want.

So what that this is an internet forum? The fact you have no proof & stated even if you did you wouldn't post it says it all. And no, if you did have legit proof of this I wouldn't say you're full of shit.

If he had proof, he'd be on the phone negotiating with TMZ

Why would I post the proof on an internet forum? If I was willing to be an absolute D bag, and share text messages or pics from people in the know, why wouldn't I go to a newspaper and get money for the story?

I have no proof, and I'm full of shit, we'll just stick with that.

Well, to be fair, there is some "circumstantial evidence." He is a freakish athlete and the receding hairline at a relatively young age can be sign as well as the fact that he seems pretty immune to injury.

However, both can just as easily be explained by genetics. Did you ever see any of Sman's "Lebron on steroids" threads and posts? Man, that was some funny stuff. He used to pull his "evidence" from some of the most obscure sites. :pound:

So you'd be a d-bag if you posted proof you don't have yet you mentioned his wife & how he cheats on her? Alrighty then...
