apparently having the highest payroll in the history of the NBA is not enough.....

but its stupid to begin with- if tomorrow the Mavs said- take Deron Williams contract off our books and we dont want any salary back- the Cavs would do it.

All LeBron is doing is cutting out Griffins legs from underneath him in any negotiation. Maybe its like Griff and Jefferson have said- LeBron just thrives on not being "comfortable".

"I still am an outsider looking in on his perspective, but when you look at the subliminal tweets, or you look at him cracking jokes, or you look at him kind of stoking the fire, it's because he doesn't ever wanna be too comfortable. He never wants to feel comfortable; he always wants to feel uncomfortable. And I think that's what pushes him, that's part of the reason why he's so great is that he's never in a mode like, 'OK, this is a good place to be.'

"No. He's, you know, 'OK, where can I go next? Where can I go next? I have to keep pushing and striving for another level of greatness.' Because he knows that that's only way to achieve what he wants to achieve."

I'm 100% on your side here.
It's just fucking amazing what he expects/demands, which often times isn't possible.
There is a salary cap and rules.

So to summarize in the past week or so Lebron has:

- Said pretty much his teammates suck outside of him, Kyrie and Love.
- Said his owner was cheap
- Said the GM was lazy

Like how entitled are you Lebron? You're clearly the best player in the NBA but you whine about shit all the time, including worst of all whining about your teammates. You know pretty much the same guys who helped you win a championship last year over a 73-win team.

What's next? Is he going to whine at the ball boys for not giving him good enough passes for his warm up shots? I honestly can't think of a legitimate top 5 athlete in their sport, who whines about stuff as much as Lebron does.

I'm a total Lebron fan, and think he got a raw deal with all the shit he took over his first stint in Cleveland and the finals stuff. That being said it's being harder and harder to root for a guy who wants to have things handed to him continually.

and they are #1 in the East!!! lol...its not like their is a crisis....Jr Smith got hurt, they just made a trade......Anderson and Mo Williams both are out for the year and the Cavs are trying to replace them- not that they are important to the playoffs but they would have at least been warm bodies during the regular season.

Sometimes LeBron is gonna do dumb/weird stuff....this is definitely one of those times.

Here's my best guess.

Wade realized the Bulls are a mess, and he's not a worshiped hometown hero as he had hoped.

By the time the All Star game comes around, he will have been paid the bulk of this years contract.

He doesn't want to play there next year.

So, he bitches and moans and gets bought out.

That get Bulls off the hook, lets him deal with next year, next summer, and gives him a chance to sign with Cavs for the minimum for the playoff run.
I always felt he only signed with the Bulls to spite Riley & the heat. I never believed he wanted to play in Chi vs. Miami.

Pretty crazy that Wilbon kinda saw this coming from Wade/Butler with the way the game ended.

Na I doubt it. Chicago is home to him so I don't think it is fair to say that....Now if he went and signed with Denver, I would agree with you

Also in Wade's defense, there was reasonable hope that the Bulls would be good. Most average people questioned how it would work but the overall talent was there. But the biggest thing is mostly that their pieces don't fit well. Rondo was a disaster. Mirotic has been anemic this year. The Bulls really took for granted how much Pau Gasol helped their overall offense and now became really perimeter heavy.

Haven't seen a ton of Bulls games, but the ones I have, it seems they're disjointed a large majority of the game.

The problem here is it won't take may more losses to start slipping down the list of seeding. Also, in comparison to the West they're already sitting on the borderline of #4/#5- record wise- behind the top West teams. So that means they wouldn't have HCA in the Finals no matter which top team came out of the West. Not a good look for the defending champs.

Meanwhile the Warriors are continuing to get better down the stretch.

I'm just saying...looking a lot like buyers remorse to me.

Could definitely be. I think Chicago didn't consider fit at all. But still Wade overall is a high caliber player in the league even at his age and mileage on his legs.

Everyone could see a mile away that things would clash with Rondo/Wade/Butler situation going on.

This too. I didn't want to mention it because I haven't seen them play a ton so I couldn't say with certainty. But seems to be the case. Wonder if they think they should have hired Kevin Ollie instead of Hoiberg who was interested at the time too.

Didn't see the reasonable hope.
Roster is skewed.
