I understand many pundits and many posters on this board say he is not a first round quality type QB, however we will be a top half of the first round pick. So who picks him

If he went anywhere in the top half of the first it'd almost have to be Cleveland I think. I don't buy he'll be in the top half of the 1st round in particular quite yet. Then again, QB's are notoriously overdrafted.

Yeah, the Browns would do better to trade the Eagles pick for Garoppolo than draft another shitty QB. But then this is the Browns where good decisions don't always win the day.

If the Bills let Tyrod go, Buffalo at #10 seems about right.

oh.... Good call on that one.... Seems like a logical landing spot

My guess is Cleveland with the #12 overall pick they get from the Eagles.

This is CLE we're talking about...Garoppolo looked okay in NE, but he would be shitty there too.

Browns need to take the A&M DE at 1, and another DEF player with the Eagles pick...too many starting caliber DEF players in this draft for them to take a QB in the 1st round imo.

If they are set on a trading for a QB...I might look at the Titans pick in the 2nd round to use, but not a 1st rounder.

Personally I like Mitch Trubisky from UNC better but I tend to think Watson will go first. I agree with @Iggloo and Watson going to Cleveland with the #12 pick. They will be able to get Watson much cheaper with the rookie wage scale versus trying to sign Grappolo and that fits right in with the money ball program. I would not be at all surprised to see Elway jump on Trubisky with their first round pick though.

I'm going to say CLE...but with the 33rd pick.

Part of me thinks a team with an established QB picking late might take Watson.

QBs tend to go earlier than they should so it wouldn't shock me to see Trubisky or Watson go to CLE at 12, but I wouldn't do it...they are almost assured two '17 starters if they go DEF with both picks.

No way DEN will invest another 1st round pick on a QB after taking Lynch whom I think will eventually be the starter there.

I agree with you, Denver is not drafting a qb in the 1st round again this soon.

Watson throws a bunch of ints, but I'm sure the coverage schemes at the next level will be easier

They can't be very confident, he hasn't had enough snaps to even come close to having a full evaluation.
I agree but I found it curious that they traded up to get him but only used him when they had to. Siemian played ok but is obviously not the long term answer.
