Great Dayne
I was right even if you believe I was wrong
Ty's 6.5 YPC behind GB O-line >>>> Elliot's 5 YPC behind the best O-line in the game.
Ty's 6.5 YPC behind GB O-line >>>> Elliot's 5 YPC behind the best O-line in the game.
That's outstanding, let me know how it works out for you!
ok 162 yards on 16 caries and 2 TD's. Worked out great.
It worked today vs the Bears but ok, Ill buy in
Stuff that should be on the team's board...
I agree which is why I posted a similar thread on the team board but wanted the opinion of fans of other teams. That and I'm to impatient to wait a week for a response on the GB board.
You needed less than a week to have people tell you to slow your roll and stop being such a homer?
He looked great, but he seems to get beat up every game he gets more than a few carries. I don't know if he has the durability to be a starting RB
Dude was a WR for his entire college career but he's about 6 ft 220 lbs of pure fucking muscle with great acceleration, power, vision, hands and a deadly stiff arm. Dude just ran for 163 yards and 2 TD's on a good Bears run defense and is averaging 6 YPC this season.
The question is he just a third down back or does he have all the tools to be a complete back and with his numbers this year that would make him an elite RB but it's a small sample size.
IMO, I think he can be the best 3d down back in the game but too many power rushes would have him ending up getting injured. I don't see him being a 1k rusher but I can see him getting 700 yards rushing and 600+ yards receiving with about 10 TD's. Fantasy football will have him as one of the highest ranked RB's next season that's for sure. Starks will be gone and I'm not sure what they will do with Lacy and Christian Michael.
This has to be one of the best transitions from WR to RB in the NFL. How many players have went from WR to a good RB in NFL history?
What's the over/under on Ty's carries next week? Packers seem to forget all about him for weeks at a time. His first impact game this year was the Cowboys game, but his touches really dipped until recently:
vs Cowboys: 13
vs Bears: 19
vs Colts: 10
vs Titans: 5
vs Skins: 7
vs Eagles: 3
vs Texans: 8
vs Hawks: 12
vs Bears: 18
Haven't seen him play so I'm just going off your comments. If he's not a bell cow, 20-25 carry a game RB, no he will not be a top 10 RB.
But if he's a 700 rushing 600 receiving guy...he will be a top OFC 10-15 weapon in the league. The big key imo will be durability...most WRs are not built to take the punishment like a RB...I look a physical specimen like Julio Jones...I've stood right next to this guy...looks like he's chiseled out of granite or something, but he could never play RB in this league....used to running up high.
Finally gaining the confidence with Rodgers?
He's not good enough to overcome Mcmuffin's conservative/garbage play calling or the Dom Capers soft coverage/zone late in games vs playoff teams consitently. I don't care if we had Montana/Young or any other clutch QB this team will go no where with the coaching staff.
