Sagarin Average Rank - 24.3
Anderson & Hester Average Rank - 28.6
Colley Matrix Average Rank - 29.3

All those would suggest they are a top 30 program on average the last 6 years. But like I said you refuse to acknowledge it and instead say teams behind them in the ranks have been better programs the last 6 years, doesn't make sense to me.

And they haven't beaten many good teams, they also haven't lost to any teams I would consider terrible. Which means something to me. Worst loss was to a team that was still a top 40 team.

I spent entirely way too much on this stupid debate, you're not going to change my mind, and apparently the rankings and facts I've brought to the table, aren't enough to outweigh your opinion, which is backed up by nothing but your opinion, and that's fine.

True, but on the flip side, reverse Texas and MSU's OOC schedule and Texas would be the better program over the last 6 years. In fact, give Texas MSU's OOC schedule the last 2 years, and Charlie Strong doesn't have 2 losing seasons in a row.........

The point we're making is Mullen and MSU's record are vastly overrated due to their OOC opponents, the fact they never beat the good teams in the SEC, always beat the scrubs in the SEC and can rarely ever beat a ranked team.

Yes they've played shitty teams OOC. But they also have arguably the hardest conference schedule year in and year out. Over the last 6 years their average SOS is 18.5(according to Massey SOS)

And the point I'm trying to make is that they either play a ton of top 20 teams or teams outside the top 40. They have two losses to teams that are outside the top 30. Their record against teams 21-40 is good. They are 9-3 against such teams in that time frame. And obviously, have no losses outside the top 40 in the last 6 years.

Also, they were a top 30 program the last 6 years. I'm in no way projecting ahead. Projecting them to continue this great pace is rather unrealistic considering they are probably the worst SEC program in its history. I do expect them to be a top 40 team this year however, as this is somewhat of a rebuilding year.

I know with Mullen as the coach they won't, he is the Paul Johnson of the SEC. Right when contract extentions come up he exceeds expectations and they over pay him. If they do get to 10 I'll be a man about it and accept it. I will say the only reason MSU won so many games two years ago was because everyone in te West was so young and they had all Seniors.
