LOL the numbers aren't on your side. You still have no rebuttal for the fact that they haven't beaten anyone of merit other than #22 Auburn in the last 6 years. That's shitty. But hey, all praise to the amazing job Mullen's doing of beating creampuffs and one top 25 team in the last 6 years while claiming that awesome bowl win over....hmm...![]()
They actually are, you just refuse to acknowledge them and say teams behind them have been better programs the last 6 years when they haven't. Prime examples, Tennessee and Texas etc...
Last 6 years:
Massey Composite Average Ranking - 26.16
Sagarin Average Rank - 24.3
Anderson & Hester Average Rank - 28.6
Colley Matrix Average Rank - 29.3
All those would suggest they are a top 30 program on average the last 6 years. But like I said you refuse to acknowledge it and instead say teams behind them in the ranks have been better programs the last 6 years, doesn't make sense to me.
And they haven't beaten many good teams, they also haven't lost to any teams I would consider terrible. Which means something to me. Worst loss was to a team that was still a top 40 team.
I spent entirely way too much on this stupid debate, you're not going to change my mind, and apparently the rankings and facts I've brought to the table, aren't enough to outweigh your opinion, which is backed up by nothing but your opinion, and that's fine.
LOL BEATING 1 RANKED TEAM IN 6 YEARS ISN'T AN OPINION. Are you kidding me???They actually are, you just refuse to acknowledge them and say teams behind them have been better programs the last 6 years when they haven't. Prime examples, Tennessee and Texas etc...

It's so simple to understand, I really don't understand why he's having such a hard time with it.True, but on the flip side, reverse Texas and MSU's OOC schedule and Texas would be the better program over the last 6 years. In fact, give Texas MSU's OOC schedule the last 2 years, and Charlie Strong doesn't have 2 losing seasons in a row.........
MSU OOC 2014 - Southern Miss, UAB, South Alabama, UT Martin
MSU OOC 2015 - Southern Miss, N'Western St, Troy, LA Tech
The point we're making is Mullen and MSU's record are vastly overrated due to their OOC opponents, the fact they never beat the good teams in the SEC, always beat the scrubs in the SEC and can rarely ever beat a ranked team.

I also never said Tennessee and Texas were better teams the last 6 years. I'm saying they are better programs currently, which they are. MSU had had a few decent years, but it doesn't instantly vault them to top 30. Would you honestly try and tell anyone that MSU is a better program right now than Tennessee or Texas?
You're not going to change my mind, or anyone else's in this thread, and it's because we're right. Somehow you're the only one that doesn't get it, and it doesn't seem like you ever will somehow.
I know with Mullen as the coach they won't, he is the Paul Johnson of the SEC. Right when contract extentions come up he exceeds expectations and they over pay him. If they do get to 10 I'll be a man about it and accept it. I will say the only reason MSU won so many games two years ago was because everyone in te West was so young and they had all Seniors.Well you better hope Miss St doesn't go 10-2 this year...btw I don't believe they will
It hurts me to say. Nice call OP. I did say Mullen wass overrated but he might be out soon. Horrible loss at home
Offseason bruh.i can't believe you had a 6 page thread about the Cowbell Clangers
