You'll be pulling for UCLA vs those two teams if you think of the bigger picture. Personally I'd kiss Oregon and WSU's ass if I thought it would help Washington make it to the PAC championship game. It's all about the big picture.

I understand the bigger picture. But I don't think getting to the CCG this year is worth cheering for ucla.

Firstly, I question if his IQ is above that of a shelled sunflower seed. Secondly, I don't care to argue about what makes a real fan, but I'm sure figuring out the correct choice on whether or not you should want your rival to win in a given situation isn't the way to measure it.

You can be a fan and want what's best your school but at some point you have to realize college isn't like the NFL. There are schools you could never root for.

It's pretty much a no brainer. If your rival winning helps your team's cause then you damn well better be pulling for your rival if you want to be considered a real fan.

What the fuck difference does it make? I've wanted oregon to lose every game for a long ass time, didn't stop their little run they had.

None of us are playing the game, we're all just along for the ride, you can pull for whoever the fuck you want, I'll never hold wanting oregon to lose against anyone.

If its the last game of the year and Washington needs Oregon to beat Oregon State in order to win the division. I cant see why a Huskies fan would not root for Oregon to win that game. There are certain situations that do take precedent over rivalries. If we need UCLA to beat Utah. Or ND to beat Stanford for example. For USC to make the PAC South CCG. Rooting for our rival is no different than rooting for USC at that point.
