Boy I was tempted to challenge the best ofc vs best def theory. Schraeder is an under rated RT, I can see ATL scoring 24-27, but I can see the Falcons DEF giving up 30.
Well the Broncos are 10-0 in the last 10 non-conference home games. So that home field advantage could make life very difficult on that Atlanta offense having to operate with that crowd noise and having to play at altitude. I'm actually surprised the Falcons are taking the risk of having Coleman come to the game since he has that sickle cell issue that really hurt the Steelers safety whose name escapes me right n ow.

It's intriguing matching the highest scoring team vs imo the best DEF in the league, but I don't have the balls to pick ATL in this one largely because it's in DEN...the homefield advantage has really come back in the mile high city.
Ryan Clark is who you are thinking of...Coleman being a limited or a non factor does matter, but...imo ATL's lack of QB pressure and super thin LBing corp could be what keeps them from winning this game...I can see DEN's run game controlling this one and some key down field passes being the difference.
I definitely expect a good game and if this one was in Atlanta I might actually be picking them to win this one. The fact that the Broncos pass rush will have the home crowd behind them makes me think that they will make life very uncomfortable for Matty Ice. Still I would consider this the game of the week and one that could see a few back and forth moments.
Most of the talk here is obviously Schraeder (RT) vs Miller, but imo the big key to the OL success for the Falcons is in the interior of the OL...if Matt has a pocket to step into, he won't take many sacks...if he doesn't...he will have a long day.
Updates...at least publicly the Falcons are saying Coleman will make the trip and they expect him to play...but I think his touches will be limited if he does.
Shanahan is finally allowing Matt to run more no huddle and there doesn't seem to be as much emphasis on getting the ball to Julio...if he's bracketed, Matt is pulling off him much quicker and they seem to be running more plays where Julio is not the primary.
On the DEN side...I would really try to test that front 7 with the run game. The DL is okay, but they are really thin at LB (signed AJ Hawk today for depth).
