Aren't scholarships at almost every school really for one year and renewed by the school? Isn't that why players on some teams ,who don't cut it, for what ever reason don't have their scholarship renewed ?
Because Chris Black handled his business like an adult.
Maurice Smith could stop being a little bitch and quit hiding behind his mother's prodigious coattails, but that isn't likely to happen either.
Jesus Christ us butthurt bitches will cry about anything.
Awww, if calling me butthurt is your only response to this then you already lost.
If bama fans wanted to remain sensible on this topic they'd shut up instead of calling Maurice Smith a snow flake because he wants to be treated in the same manor as someone with "less talent" that was granted a full release to attend an SEC east foe.
As a Georgia fan, I don't have a problem with this, and it would be hypocritical if I did.
One of Kirby Smart's first moves as HC was block any UGA players from transferring to Miami to follow Mark Richt.
Essentially the same thing here.
I know right. Before landing that Alabama O-lineman, dude in black was their #1 target at tackle.

I applaud you for saying this, and I think i might take some time soon and try to find the thread and see if "certain" posters were all up in that thread slamming Kirby.
Personally I would not have a problem if Saban let Mo go play for Kirby, but he has his reasons and he makes the call, so it will stand. I do think its funny the same cast of "whiners" have jumped on this like Nick is the only coach in history to ever do this.
Great Post Chewbaccer.

Handled his business like an adult? The dude asked for a release the week of the LSU game. He was granted a full release in December.
Maurice Smith who by all accounts is more talented than Black, wants to be treated the same. That's him
wanting special treatment? Jesus Christ you gumps will defend anything.
"If Bama Fans..." Did you think that up all yourself or did you read it someplace else and think it was smart? Let me clue you in, its wasnt smart at all.
Point one, the SEC rules state clearly that a school has the "right" to block any school they wish for a potential transfer from going to. This is a rule the SEC has and this University is following the rules of said Conference they happen to be KING of. Secondly, Bama fans dont have to do anything in this, because they are "fans" and not decision makers.
And lastly, come September when Bama is playing an "Mo" is watching yet another possible national title contending Alabama Crimson Tide make yet another run at a title, while he is sitting in a chair wishing he had been intelligent enough to take the right approach and not rock the boat with the "entitled" approach, who do you think he will be blaming in his heart of hearts? Thats right, he knows he played the wrong card and showed his true colors and Saban does not yield to the court of public opinion, because he makes the decisions surrounding this football team, not the media, not the fans and certainly not haters like yourself.
So to wrap this all up, my original post fits and you can take it or leave it.

Yawn...are you done with your misplaced moral outrage, so we can move on to more important off-season topics, like which cheerleaders are hotter or who has the best tailgate.
