Here's a thought. Assuming there is some truth in the story, then playing Profar at first may indeed be a test to see how he fairs. However, wouldn't you think the Rangers would be talking about his regression in arm strength? I don't know just making conversation that won't buy a cup of coffee.

To answer your question no. I wouldn't want to be advertising he's down some strength. But it really makes some sense since he hasn't been able to throw at all for 2 seasons, and he hasn't really been playing SS/3rd for any length of time to develop some back.

But like your cup-of-coffee theory, the article was probably one guys guess/opinion just like so many posts online. ha

I'm really just trying to focus on the last game before our break due to our recent struggles with ALL THE STARTERS having troubles going longer than 4 innings.

AJ was so solid earlier in the year. If he can get even close to that in the 2nd half, this'll help the beleaguered BP out.

Just beat the Twinkies today and never play them again ( until next year). Annoying little bastards. The teams who always give us trouble won't be on our schedule in the second half. No white sox, no blue Jays, and no twins. Just the A's, but they are a divisional opponent so it goes without saying.

It's bull shit lawyer ball. You're looking at the replay for a sliver of light to appear in super slow motion. It's not like he over slid the bag. He beat the throw and got called out on lawyer ball. There should be a rule kind of like the neighborhood rule in place.
