Ive coached LL for several years and his teams both seasons and I have had to have conversations with parents many times about being to hard on their kiddos. It has to be fun for them or they won't enjoy it near as much, and likely quit on you. Everyone has aspirations for their children but its a pipe dream really, to think your child will be grossly successful playing baseball.
I have a funny meme somewhere that shows 2 kids about 5 years old, where one kid says to the other kid "Is that your dad yelling at you from the stands again"? The other responds " yeah he thinks I'm going Pro next year". Funny stuff!
Lol yeah keep it fun teach them let them love the game. A guy I worked with pounded his boys on football since they were young. He pushed them to the point they quit football early in HS. One joined the swim team and one joined band.
