Buzz you can stick your last 20 ballgames in your ear as Mitch has gone in the opposite direction and in the last 11 games has hit .219 with 1 HR. Glad he was able to get a hit now but he has been total garbage lately.

And a lot of it is. He pitched from behind to damn near every guy he faced, and made an awful throw to 2nd on the attempted DP.

Grant ya the D has been worse than awful.

Have to look at that DP attempt again but Roog should have made one out on it. Not sure what Mitch was thinking. But Chi Chi was not destined to be in this game long, that's for sure.

It's hard to hit right handed pitching when you don't get to face right handed pitching on a regular basis.

No doubt about Roggie should have gotten the out at 2nd for sure. But that "should have been" a routine DP. Certainly not all on Chi Chi.

What was Mitch thinking? He wasn't or else he would have gotten the easy out at 1st instead of throwing one hopper to the plate. ERA more than doubled today, and he's packing for the minors even as we speak.

You are probably thinking of the guy at Frisco - Sadzeck. He pitched 6 innings of shut out ball. The one issue I saw in that start is that he had 47 strikes and 36 balls. That could be an issue at the MLB level. But I think it was Romeo that mentioned him and I 2nd it. He had 7 K's and 0 walks and gave up 3 hits.
