Noah has only played in 572 games in 9 seasons. I don't think he's exactly been run into the ground.

Not saying this is true. But, it's out there.

Derrick Rose knows all about change as he has had to adapt his game, his lifestyle, and his expectations with his three knee injuries. Rose enjoyed incredible support from Coach Thibodeau throughout his injuries and clearly appreciated all Thibodeau did to make him the player he is today, but many were quick to point out that Coach Thibodeau may have actually caused these injuries through his mismanagement of player minutes and grueling training.

When the Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Luol Deng in a January trade with the Bulls, they received a player who had been run "into the ground" by Chicago, according to a leaked scouting report used by the Atlanta Hawks.

Very interesting news. OKC going hard at Horford. WOW that would make OKC scary and if KD resigned.

As I said earlier, Oladipo, Westbrook, Durant, Horford, and Adams would be a hell of a starting lineup.

Again Noah will be fine but not for 18 mill a year. Just my opinion. Maybe on a 1-2 year deal.

Deng proves my point. He bounced back just fine in Miami after not playing so well with the Cavs.

I think Noah and Rose will be fine. My post was about your question on what are Thibbs minutes.

In the report, dated June 6, 2014, the Cleveland front-office member notes, "From a physical, when we got him, Chicago had run him into the ground."

Run into the ground is a medical term now? Interesting.

Ok. Still don't think it's a reason not to sign Noah on a short deal.

Shocked you have never heard about this. Pretty common knowledge and is openly discussed by basketball people, media, and fans.

Agree.

It's the one situation that would br clearly better than the Warriors.

Vaguely.

I think it's the pussification of sports nowadays. Never heard this when the Lakers, Pistons, and Celtics ruled the courts back in the day. Riles ran some pretty beastly practices (that's where Byron Scott got it from). And pretty sure KC Jones and Chuck Daly did as well.

Couldn't believe they tried to make him play.

Paxson said in January soon after trading Deng to the Cavaliers that the Bulls could have handled the situation better.

"You learn a lot from situations," Paxson said on Jan. 8. "We did not handle that as well as we could have and should have. I guess we didn't understand the gravity of it in that moment from his perspective. And that's on us. But over the summer we talked to both Lu and [agent] Herb [Rudoy]. We apologized. That's something we dropped the ball on and hopefully learn from, but in terms of injuries and things like that over Lu's career, I think we've been really supportive of how he's gone about things."

One of those practices ruined their chance for the 3-peat against Detroit in 1989.

The Lakers extended a qualifying offer to Marcelo Huertas. Who will pry him away from the Lakers? :pound:

So, you think asking a guy to play after a spinal tap is reasonable?

I have had one and that shit is unpleasant.
