I really love the shutdown and meltdown stat. I use it with other numbers obviously, but it's puts a good face on iffy feelings you have about a pitcher.

Last night was another perfect example of why I don't get a good feeling when Dyson comes in. I know I'm nitpicking, but with this team that's about all we have to stay grounded. Yes it's a win, yes he did his job. Giving up 2 hits is nerve-wracking, and the tying run 90 feet away with 1 out.

There were plenty of appearances where he was completely in lock down mode early on, he's been less so lately, but I attribute that to fatigue, he's been worked pretty hard by Banister

It feels like I've seen this episode once or twice before.

That said, Banny has ridden the guy hard the past few weeks. He needs a few days off IMO.
