(Simple math shows that if the balls had been artifically deflated, then the resulting numbers the NFL claims should have been much lower. They weren't. They were exactly where they should have been due to weather.)

Let me try again. Sure, 'conspiracies' are concocted every damn day. The point is that SUCCESSFUL conspiracies are rare as the snow leopard. Why? Well that concept has been around for just a while now.

So, the reason that SUCCESSFUL conspiracies are freaking rare, is that the more moving parts there are, the more people involved, the less likely that the conspiracy will remain secret. Thus the bigger the conspiracy, the less likely it it.

I specifically used the LSD experiments of conspiracies that existed, but failed to remain secret. I USED THAT EXAMPLE. I also used psychic driving as ANOTHER example of someone committing bad acts in secret, that didn't remain secret.

You are obscuring(ignoring?) the historical timeline to make your point. While they were ongoing they were a conspiracy and a secret. They didn't become known until 25 years after they happened.

And therefore, it's not analogous to the Brady situation. For it to be analogous, you would have to be the guy claiming "everyone that says the government is secretly dosing Americans is wrong because conspiracies do not exist because people tell secrets." And then after the facts came out you'd be eating your foot. Then the analogy would fit.

That's a very weird way to look at history. Here's the point. SUCCESSFUL CONSPIRACIES are rare.

So when someone says 'Hey, there's not one, but 4 recent conspiracies with the NFL,' and we can all see that the NFL is a big organization, with a lot of moving parts, I can say with some confidence that it's UNLIKELY that there's that many conspiracies happening.

Now of course I can't prove that beyond a shadow of a doubt. Maybe there's pirate ninjas that run international conspiracies for people like Goodell. Aliens with forget rays.

But people talk. That's the point.
