Honestly, it's a total crap shoot.
It would be nice to have an article though about how it has played out in the past. Even if the article shows that the results vary widely I would like to see the work done and presented to us. Maybe give 5 or 6 examples of similar injuries and detail how they turned out. Our reporters just don't do that kind of work very often unfortunately.

After tonight's game we will be right at the one-quarter mark of the season. It will be fun to project out season ending numbers. As it stands now Roogie would lead the team with 28 HR.

so either 88 or 92 win pace. 90 wins would be good.

With Choo and Darvish coming back you might be able to reasonably assume 95 or 96 wins unless we have devastating injuries to other valuable players. Then you also would think the bullpen would be better than it has been overall and that we will get some more production out of the DH spot going forward.

Sounds like he is not liked very much in Toronto either.

There's a sizable contingent of fans who still think he walks on water. But overall, I can't remember the last time so many people disliked a singular player.

Very good article that really gives maybe the best description of Bautista I have seen written in those last 3 paragraphs.

Canadian columnist: 'Prima donna' Jose Bautista deserved getting punched by Rougned Odor | SportsDay
It is funny how almost all of our local media feels they have to say the bat flip was no big deal, but this guy from up in Canada doesn't. I don't know if they just are bending over backwards to keep from appearing to be homers or if it is like I was wondering yesterday that they just feel like they have to attack any thinking that appears to be old-school. It is probably both.

Rangers' Colby Lewis: Hurls fifth straight quality start
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Lewis allowed two runs on four hits while striking out six over seven innings, but received no decision Saturday against the Blue Jays.

Lewis left the game with a three-run lead, but Shawn Tolleson blew the save in the ninth inning, costing him a win. He's now thrown five straight quality starts, and he boasts a 3.12 ERA along with a 1.17 WHIP. He'll make his next start Friday at the Astros.

Rangers' Yu Darvish: Next rehab start to come at Double-A level
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire
Darvish will make his next rehab start with Double-A Frisco on Tuesday, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.

He'll be held to a limit of five innings or 75 pitches during the rehab start, his fourth thus far. Assuming all goes well in the outing, Darvish will likely make one more start in the minors where he'll throw close to 100 pitches before being activated from the DL.
