The Zips football program isn't good but they just had their best year ever. Most W's in a season & their 1st ever bowl W. Believe or not Terry Bowden actually has them going in the right direction.

Hey speaking of the JAR that place is so old & outdated all of these HS's have better gym's than the Zips...

Garfield, Firestone, Copley & Wadsworth. The university should be ashamed for not replacing that eye sore.

IS funny how you keep on going with those "poor, downtrodden" Busses, though...

do you REALLY think they're that poor and destitute? I could use a laugh...

ever notice how when a persons team is humiliatingly bad- they always go to the "well we used to be good" card?

Ever notice that when a player is really good, but a clown doesn't want to a
Yeah, I can't decide... but you're probably right. George is the type of player who could have a monster game and swing the series on his own.

Notice that I've extended my time using your avi?
Very patriotic

@TurnUpTheHeat

ill do a bet on the CAvs staying together but thats the bet....

either you think they are breaking apart- or they are not going to.

I think Irving/Love/LeBron will all be Cavs on opening night next year. If they are not- you win- if they are I win- a MONTH long avatar bet.

deal?

One important note on the Cavs record without LeBron.... think about when LeBron usually sits out... its in Back to back games on the road.

Since the Mozgov/JR trade last season... The Cavs are 3 - 6 without LeBron.

5 of those 6 losses were road games on the end of a back to back.

What type of record do you guys think most teams would have in games without their best player on the road in a back to back?
A better one than the Cavs have since LBJ rarely sits out maybe?

No NBA doesn't reseed like that. The bracket is locked in from the beginning. CLE gets 4/5 winner. TOR gets 3/6 winner. (assuming CLE holds onto the #1)
Which would mean a Cle/Mia series if they both get to the 2nd round.

much better....and dont forget- the past is irrelevant- unless its not. Depends apparently.

I would imagine only the teams with nothing but losses in their past would agree to this.

Well most would agree that's better than jumping ship entirely.

“We’ve had some ups and downs, but for the most part, we’ve had way more ups, and for our team, we’re in a good place right now with a week and a half left in the regular season,” said James . “It’s a perfect time to be clicking, and we’re clicking right now, so it’s perfect for our team, and everyone feels in a good rhythm offensively and defensively. We know what we want to do, and we can go out and execute that.”

always want to be peaking at the right time....Really happy the Cavs are taking a page out of the Spurs playbook- and resting LeBron- rather than the Lakers playbook- and letting Kobe dictate that he plays every game. Lets hope that the front office's strategy pays off like it did for Duncan- who is still a very good player at age 39....while Kobe has been for all intents and purposes done for at least a few years now.

Hopefully- the Cavs keep this program up long term. Last year I believe LeBron played a career low in minutes per game. I believe he will break that and establish a new career low in minutes per game this year. I wouldnt be surprised- and I HOPE- that trend continues- rather than- what he was used to - getting burned out. How the Cavs continue to treat LeBron in the coming years is going to be very important- and thus far- they have done an A+ job. More Duncan/Spurs treatment--- less Kobe/Lakers treatment.

Agree for the most part. I think Kobe's biggest problem wasn't that he didn't sit out games to rest like Lebron has done the past couple of seasons, but that he played in games while hurt when he would have been better served to sit out. I saw a recent interview with the Lakers head trainer, Gary Vitti (who is also retiring at the end of the season) and he was talking about some of the stuff he used to have to do to get Kobe ready to play because he just wouldn't sit out. It was pretty fascinating.

As I said in an earlier post, we've all heard teams say "If this were a playoff game, he'd play" when guys were sitting out with more minor type injuries. Kobe always played in those games.

To his credit, a big part of the reason he did it because fans were paying to see him play and he didn't want to disappoint. To his detriment, as you point out, it's also why he's been done for a couple of years now.

I don't really think there's any reason for Lebron to be sitting out for rest at age 31, but I also agree that it's better to be safe than sorry.

He's a small forward and it just so happens that the Lakers are set to have an opening at that very position at the end of the season.

C'mon Paul, force a trade to the Lakers.

Wiggy thinks that owners dip into their own money to pay the bills for their teams. He doesn't grasp that his "self made billionaire" Dan Gilbert had a bitch fit over the CP3 trade because it would have cut back his NBA welfare check that was helping him to keep from having to do that very thing.

The Buss family could be "without a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of" (as my grandma used to say) and it wouldn't matter because the Time Warner deal among other things, pays all of the bills and then some.
