One important note on the Cavs record without LeBron.... think about when LeBron usually sits out... its in Back to back games on the road.

Since the Mozgov/JR trade last season... The Cavs are 3 - 6 without LeBron.

5 of those 6 losses were road games on the end of a back to back.

What type of record do you guys think most teams would have in games without their best player on the road in a back to back?

Cavs should have just rested all 3 'stars'.
It was prob a good move anyway.
Not that either has a chance, but if I'm the Cavs I'd rather play the Pistons.
Pacers do have Paul George.

I'm a Heat fan but its going to be tough if they did meet. I honestly don't think they'll play each other though. Boston probably end up 3rd while Miami will likely be in the 4/5 spot.

Boston scares me, but then they just might be this years version of the past seasons Bulls.
They play real hard, every game all season, but then had nothing additional to offer for the playoffs.

Ever notice how folks who say past titles don't matter are usually fans of teams that have never won one?

Past title do matter. Well except all of these...'50, '52, '53, '54, '72, '80, '82, '85, '87, '88, '00, '01, '02, '09 & '10.

ever notice how when a persons team is humiliatingly bad- they always go to the "well we used to be good" card?

Beats the hell out of "we used to be humiliatingly bad and now that we're good, we still can't win a title."

alright y'all. time to quit picking on Wiggy. in fact THIS should make him feel better...

I remember when those came out. I got so pissed when the Cavs lost to the Magic, because I wanted to see Kobe vs. Lebron in those Finals - mainly for the puppet commercials.

“We’ve had some ups and downs, but for the most part, we’ve had way more ups, and for our team, we’re in a good place right now with a week and a half left in the regular season,” said James . “It’s a perfect time to be clicking, and we’re clicking right now, so it’s perfect for our team, and everyone feels in a good rhythm offensively and defensively. We know what we want to do, and we can go out and execute that.”

always want to be peaking at the right time....Really happy the Cavs are taking a page out of the Spurs playbook- and resting LeBron- rather than the Lakers playbook- and letting Kobe dictate that he plays every game. Lets hope that the front office's strategy pays off like it did for Duncan- who is still a very good player at age 39....while Kobe has been for all intents and purposes done for at least a few years now.

Hopefully- the Cavs keep this program up long term. Last year I believe LeBron played a career low in minutes per game. I believe he will break that and establish a new career low in minutes per game this year. I wouldnt be surprised- and I HOPE- that trend continues- rather than- what he was used to - getting burned out. How the Cavs continue to treat LeBron in the coming years is going to be very important- and thus far- they have done an A+ job. More Duncan/Spurs treatment--- less Kobe/Lakers treatment.

Yeah, I can't decide... but you're probably right. George is the type of player who could have a monster game and swing the series on his own.

WHAT??! and we weren't invited...?!!

and here I thought we were all friends...

course thinking about that, imagine how we'd all get along if we DID break bread together...

It's a 10 hour flight, followed by a 4 hour train ride to get from LA to where I live. If you can make it in time, I'll explain it to the husband.
