Not really.

You don't hear Lakers fans doing much complaining and his endorsements and jersey sales are among tops in the league despite him being a jackass for most of his career. So, I'd say he's gotten away with it more than he hasn't.

Watching Wiggy brag about making the finals and losing again this summer will be comical. I can't wait

all the excuses he'll pile on will make for some hellified laughs all Summer...

You guys think he'll actually be around? I'm guessing that if the Cavs lose, he'll suddenly be very, very busy with work, etc.

Well of course you Laker fan wouldn't say anything bad about him. You've been kissing his ass for 20 years!

the man was almost put on trial for his life and only avoided it by paying out a 7 figure settlement.

Nothing LeBron does in his entire life will come CLOSE to the scumbaggery Kobe Bryant has engaged in during his. LeBron may be tone deaf to the media at times - and is as egotistical and big headed as they come- but at least hes not slimy and skeezy like Kobe. Kobe is BY FAR the bigger Jackass.

I've said all kinds of negative things about him. Not only has he never been my favorite player, he's never even been my favorite Laker. But I still appreciate that he had a huge hand in 5 more Lakers titles and I respect his work ethic and how single minded he has been on the goal of winning titles.

My favorite Laker of all time is Nick Van Exel.

I never said Kobe wasn't the bigger jackass. I said he gets away with it because of the 5 championships. So how about you actually read and comprehend the conversation before posting and making a fool of yourself.

ok cool- for a second i thought you were delusional and thought that Kobe wasnt a total and complete scumbag like some lakers fans i know who insist he is a stand up individual- when we all know that is far from the truth. Love watching Kobe and his work ethic- but pretty big scumbag--- not that i care- as long as he can shoot a basketball and his idiocy doesnt cost him games on the court or riffs with his teammates- go for it.

Yes- the Cavs are worse than last year--- LeBron is playing better this year- the team is going to surpass its win total by AT LEAST 5-6 games-- the team is scoring more points per game- and giving up less points per game than last year.

I mean- are you really this stupid Heatles?----

The Cavs

ARe scoring more points than last year per game
Are giving up less points per game than last year
will finish with AT LEAST 5-6 more wins

they are worse though! lol....did you eat paint chips as a child Heatles?

WHILe keeping in mind that LeBron is playing the fewest minutes per game in his career----- and is peaking at the EXACT right time.....

Well, by your own admission, this team has had another year to gel together. Also, the Cavs started off slow last year. I just provided statistics that Lebron is in fact NOT playing well. Are you really this stupid Wiggy?

what stats show LeBron is playing worse than last year?--- as bksballer said---- for the most part he is identical to last year except for a few IMPROVEMENTs- mainly- an improved shooting percentage by 3-4 % points, going from the most turnovers in his career to one of the leasti n his career--- improved his rebounding 1.5 boards per game--- all that while playing the least minutes per game of his entire career---- the only thing that i see down any kind of significance is the 3 pt shooting.

In terms of points, rebounds, etc. He's identical. However, his efficiency - ie. FG% and 3-pt.% are down by a significant margin. His jump shot is off, and that's significant. Lebron not being a reliable jump shooter (unlike the last few years) was the main reason how the Spurs defended against him in the '07 Finals. When Lebron had his jump shot going, he was unguardable. Now he has to rely on others more as teams can clog the paint against him. It worked in the Dallas series, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Spurs/Warriors use it in the Finals.

I also don't see the improved FG% by 3-4 percentage points. He's at his lowest since the '10-11 season.

his FG percentage has improved substantially from under 49% to above 51%....thats one of the bigger things i thought

and i dont know how an improvement of 1.5 rebounds isnt significant to you--- thats like a 33% increase...not only that but going from 3.9 turnovers- a career high- to 3.2- near a career low- was certainly significant but is explained by the fact that he is way more usd to his teammates.....

so really- what your saying is just bullshit. It has no basis in reality.

Hell no. Kobe's a grade A asshole. When my son was young and starting to play basketball, he said he wanted to be like Kobe (he's young enough that he didn't know about the r*pe accusation, etc.). I told him, "if you want to be like Kobe in how hard he works at his game, how hard he plays and how badly he wants to win, I have no issue. But if you're talking about him as a person, you need to pick a better role model."

Agree 100% with the bold too. As a fan, what happens with these guys off the court is none of my business unless it's effecting the team and what they do on the court. I actually wish things were more like they were before all of the social media and 24 hour access. Players were more likeable when we didn't know about all of the shit they were doing off the floor.

He was 48% last year. This year he's at 51% but compared to what he did in Miami it isn't that great. His 2 seasons in Cleveland are the lowest his fg% since his first year in Miami. Years 2-4 in Miami he was at 53% or higher.

Jordan was by far the biggest positive recipient of this. He came at the ideal time to take over like he did. What he did couldnt have been done pre- Magic-Bird----- and isnt possible in todays world of social media. He hit the sweet spot and took advantage big time.
