AJ McCarron is worth a first round pick if you expect Denver to draft a QB with #31. He should have won a playoff game last year , almost beat Denver in Denver late , his salary is way lower than any 1st round pick this year and he is young to be the QBOTF.

I'd be ok with that. But I seriously doubt that the Bengals are willing to trade him...

A pick maybe, but first round? That's some pretty lofty expectations you're putting on Andy Dalton's backup there.

I kind of get what he's saying though. AJ is only 25 so if you're going to take a QB at #31 or even trade up it makes some sense to trade for a young QB that's at least been around a few years with a few starts instead of an unproven QB in a weak class.

Was listening to an interview with Troy Rank yesterday and he was talking about how Sanchez realizes the opportunity he has before him and that since they got him in the trade he has done nothing but be at the facility studying the playbook. They talked to one of his old coaches and they said he hasn't been this excited since the day he was drafted. So at least he is taking his opportunity serious and putting in the work.

Here is one reason from last year Sanchez does not excite me. Philly lost by 1. I could live with him if he doesn't make stupid mistakes and loses games for us.

Elway is a special athlete. I lump Sanchez in with all the other average QBs.

Hopefully Sanchez is just here to run the OTAs. Maybe he will be cut in TC.
