Detroit Tigers Ongoing 2016 Thread

Hopefully the Pistons make the playoffs and the mid round first rounder they gave up is meaningless. Their team is now stacked with 7 guys that are 25 or younger.

Picking a starting 9 from only AL Central teams, I'd have 3 Indians. This wouldn't be a fantasy team, but a team I'd want to build around....

C - S. Perez (with a good backup)
1b - Cabrera
2b - Kipnis
ss - Linfor
3b - Moustakis
LF - Brantley
CF - Cain
RF - JD Martinez
DH - Abreu
(I'd pick Sano of the Twins to replace Brantley, then move him to third and trade Moustakis to Mil for Hernan Perez)

The Pistons need to take a lesson from the Spurs on how to pass the ball.. I don't get to many chances to see them play but from what I have seen their ball movement issues need to be dealt with, quick.. I don't really watch pro hoops til the playoffs. The NBA is kinda of a joke in the reg season imo

Can't say Id raise a stink about taking anyone else. With other left handed hitters, VMart isn't needed or a better option than Abreu.

Should be an interesting season in the AL Central. A lot of media-types picking Cleveland to do well. Others think KC will repeat. One part-time scout from Mexico is predicting the Tribe takes the division even though six of its starting position players may not hit .230. I believe he listed their lineup as "shit"! I think you'd have to go pack to the 1970 era Mets to get a "shit" lineup like that which won a division. The Tigers, on the other hand, this expert claims, will take second...even though they have the greatest hitter in baseball, a RF who will hit over 30 for sure, a SS,2B, and C better than the Indians and a super brand new sparkly bullpen. (Odd?)

I would love to know more about how i get my "ass handed to me". news to me. i would say the al central board is more like groups of fans smack talking each other with a few sprinkles of iffy trying to get my number so he can suck me off, and da55bums crying after being exposed as a total loser.
