He's good.

Yeah, it certainly sounds like it. Hope so really. Like I said, I like this young man a lot really.

Travels to a little different beat, I grant ya. But he's all in between the lines.

I hope he is 100%. It's difficult to win against good teams when you lose your QB or any key player. Ask the bears and frogs. They need him and we all hope he is good to go.

It seems the final four teams that make it will do so on it's own merit. Most of the teams with a legitimate shot at being there - Clemson, Michigan St, OU, Ala, Iowa - are in control of their own destiny. On the outside looking in, or at least it seems, are Baylor and ND.

Good thing too, b/c I have very little faith in this committee.

Exactly. But that's on your team and takes the committee's voting outta the equation.

If OU, Clemson, and Ala win out, you're in. And the same is true for either Michigan St and Iowa.

This being chatted about on the Missouri coaching vacancy.

Oklahoma offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley received buzz before this season as maestro behind quarterback Shane Carden’s Air Raid success at East Carolina last season and now has picked up more momentum in Norman. His quarterback, Baker Mayfield, will likely be a Heisman finalist and is putting up eye-popping numbers in Riley’s up-tempo scheme.

Should Mizzou go in that direction, it would make for a philosophical overhaul offensively, but Drew Lock appears to have enough upside to handle a switch. Riley is a Texas native and could recruit well in the Lonestar State for the Tigers.

For now being the operative words eh? ha ha ha

Hey, it's a business, and if he gets the right "business opportunity" he'll be headed to those pastures. Just like Justin Fuente's is going to do at Memphis shortly.

It's all part of the process.

Man DT......life ain't being so kind to your Bears.

Baylor quarterback Jarrett Stidham is out for the rest of the regular season after breaking a bone in the back of his right ankle, the school confirmed Wednesday.

Stidham will be in a boot for two to three weeks and then is expected to play in the team's bowl game, coach Art Briles said on Russillo and Kanell on ESPN Radio.

Well.....got my SEC vs the "rest of the college football world" bet down.

Every year I take all the SEC teams, with the line, and bet my buddy (Longhorn fan) for a steak dinner. I figure they'll be in 10 games this season.

There are entirely too many frigging bowl games IMO.
