LeBron after loss to Bucks...

I think we're a good team. I think we expect we're a great team, and we're not. We give a half-ass effort sometimes and expect that we can just make a run at the end. We're not good enough to do that right now. We've got to take it to heart when someone scores on us or we turn the ball over multiple possessions, or we do stuff that supposedly great teams shouldn't do

Yeah, I was happy for Peja, Dirk, Tyson, Kidd and the Matrix.

I had high hopes for the Kings when they had Bibby, Vlade, Peja, Bobby Jackson, Christie.

Hey, do you remember when Rick Fox and Christie had that fight and Doug's wife hit him with her purse?

:pound:
Fox and Christie fight? Oh I remember

I saw that, and it's totally accurate, and what I have been trying to tell Wiggy would happen.

I saw it, lived it here for Heat Big 3 seasons 3&4.

It's much easier for some of the players to half ass it vs play like it matters for 82 regular season games when they already know in there mind that they more then likely will be in the Finals regardless of seed.

There is some of that- but if the Cavs have their full team I do not think its a stretch to say tehy would be a pretty easy 10-0...MAYBE 9-1....there 2 losses thus far have been - by 2 points on opening night, and in double OT.

Lets get Irving and Shumpert back.....there is too much depth on this team and too many guys that will be fighting for minutes for guys to get complacent.

Even then I doubt they'll win as many games as you might think. Every team has bad nights, even the greatest of teams with the deepest of rosters.

It's not about complacency, it's about understanding what's important. The Cavs don't care, or at least shouldn't, about their regular season record or chasing down all time wins records. All that matters is that they get to the playoffs healthy, rested and playing well. It's why you will see Lebron sit out some games, it's why they are taking their sweet time about bringing Kyrie back and will likely ease him back into the lineup and it's why Love will likely sit any time he has so much as a broken fingernail.

They understand, or at least should, that this season is their best chance to get a title. Their chances will decrease each season going forward. Not saying they can't win any titles beyond this season, just that their chances decrease.

In his 8th year as Head Coach, Spoelstra still doesn't how to properly rotate guys and has no feel for the game.

Pretty frustrating to say the least that 8 years in and he is still garbage when it comes to those 2 things.
