Interesting occurance last night, near the end of one the canucks many BS unearned powerplays The Miller starts pounding his stick on the ice to let his teammates know the PP is almost done. Problem with that....there was less time left in the period than the PP

lol - Not quite, it's an acronym for a Canucks colo(u)r analyst on their radio broadcast that I am not at liberty to divulge.

everyone so quick to defend tootoo when he has a history of being just as big a twat as burrows

the guy left the bench and immediately tried to instigate a fight in a play stoppage ... HE could have faced suspension for that ... im not so sure whether what he said was truth or whether he was trying to get pity points and have the NHL look the other way on all of it

I'm the last one to defend Burrows, but he's one of those guys that seems to be completely different off the ice than on. He's quite active with charities in the community and also with the mindcheck initiative that the Canucks started after the tragic death of Rick Rypien. I've played hockey with guys that have that similar kind of switch (nicest guys off the ice, mean as hell once they step on the ice). The bottom line is that Tootoo would have to be the one to really press on with this matter for the league to investigate further and he doesn't seem interested in doing so, ergo this matter is closed.

By the way, that is likely the first and last time I will have anything positive to say about Alex Burrows.

i cant believe he went with a suicide blast ... he may have called him a drunk and thats pretty low in the circumstances but are we gonna start examining every single word uttered between players because im sure you will unearth some other not so nice poopie words

Bellows' kid plays for the USNTDP and is a top prospect in the upcoming draft. I wonder how many fucking times that poor kid has had to hear that lol

Ding ding ding... Jordin Tootoo is not the type of player who has enough career security to just take a 10 game suspension without trying everything and anything to get out of it.

I'm not saying that the guy is lying, I'm merely saying that I don't have to completely suspend disbelief to imagine a scenario where it didn't happen the way he said it did.
